Harvey, thank you for posting. It's very helpful to the rest of us Kioti K9 owners. I am definitely interested in hearing about your clutch upgrade. I'm hopeful you find a suitable better replacement.

Have you looked in the "files" section (go to the top of the forums, click download button)? People have kindly uploaded wiring diagrams for other Hisun models, and what looks like a Hisun 800 service manual. Disconnected plugs *MAY* be wiring for optional accessories, such as light bars, etc. Best of luck!

No input whatsoever about what TO buy? OK... Any input on what NOT to buy?

2023 Massimo Buck ran for minute then died. Key on all power to dashboard but do not hear full pump turn on like previously. Also no fire at plug. ECU?

I own 2022 Kioti K-9 2440 that has had multiple failures from day 1. It has spent over 3 month in the shop. I will never make that mistake again. I would love to join the class action suit. Where do I sign up. At the moment mine is on the trailer with a separated (broken) CVT primary clutch. 750 hours.

I own the Kioti K-9 2440. I purchased it back during the pandemic when Deere and Kubota could not be found in inventory. I previously owned a 2012 John Deere 855 D and ran it for 10 plus years on a commercial poultry operation 7 days per week. It had over 5500 hours on it when I sold it to an employee and purchased the Kioti. The K-9 has not been a reliable unit. With only 750 hours logged, it's spent over 3 months at the dealership for miscellaneous repairs, mostly clutch and drive-line issues. The diesel engine has been great. It's now down again. The primary CVT clutch separated. I carried it back to the dealership and they quoted me a repair estimate of $2,290 to replace the primary and the belt which is only about 6 months old. Declined his offer and retrieved the unit from the dealership. Today, I finally had the time to pop the primary clutch off and discovered the back side of the pulley completely separated from the clutch assembly. I'm now looking a better clutch option. Obviously, the OEM won't cut the mustard. I've contacted Mother Clutches. Hopefully, they have an aftermarket that will be a little more durable.

Let me know if that works for you. Then you can add new folders, just name each one differently. OR You can keep adding to the original folder. ---------Blair

Yes I had to buy a new ECU. It took a few weeks to get and it runs great. The only thing I had to change was the cowling for the drive belt. I had to trim the plastic to fit the Havoc X engine. Be careful with the throttle after installing the engine, because you now have the torque of a 100 hp engine replacing an 80 hp engine. The drive components, belt and transmission weren't designed for the the additional torque the Havoc X engine develops.

Maybe that's why he needs such a fast car! To outrun her.

I use CASTROL ACTEVO .Wet clutch approved 10w40. Have used it for years in all my ATVS ..Never fried a clutch yet. Buy it by the big jug at Wallyworld. I did see a guy put STP in his Honda once..clutch began slipping in hours .

Yep...blew the kids inheritance !! Fug it...you only live once...and. boy is that car living!! 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds! Woo hoo!😝

I didn't take any chances. I used what the manual calls for, which was oil for clutches.
