2018 Massimo 700 MSU. The machine started burning oil all of a sudden. One day fine-- next morning burning oil. Looking for advice. Do I pull the engine to inspect the top end or can it be done with the engine in place? Pro? Cons? Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated in advance. Chile

For those of you contemplating swapping out your batteries, I found this video on youtube. I like that he goes into how to remove various nuts-and-bolts to remove the old batteries.

I disagree, you don't get what you pay for.

Check your crankcase oil level, if it is too full then that means that your carburetor is leaking fuel into the engine when it is not running. Your carburetor is overflowing to fix that adjust your needle and seat so that the fuel flow stops when the carburetor bowl is full. The reason for gas being in the carburetor air box is that the crankcase breather is trying to re-leave pressure because the crankcase too full (gas and oil). Fix the carburetor problem and then change the oil.

Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. These are Chinese made machines so all parts required will be subject to new tariffs.

There's a big reason they want them gone..And that warranty ain't worth the paper it's written on.

My older LM 650 is blowing fuel into the air cleaner. Any idea on what would cause this? It is the Suzuki motor. Not sure what model year it is. Thanks Subaru SxS.mp4

I have a 2018 Textron Stampede that has a leak on the passenger side rear end. Definitely looks like a gasket has gone bad, but I’m not sure what fluid I’m replacing?

Okay. Try this. Plug your USB drive into your PC or laptop. (no apple computers) Go to and click once on: "This PC" Then click on USB drive and choose "Format" (quick format option will do fine) After formatting, double click on USB drive to open it, it will be empty. Do not create any folder or anything on the USB drive. From the same PC/laptop, drag & drop a couple of mp3 tracks and try that. Do not just unplug the USB drive from your computer! Right click the USB drive and choose eject. Now you can unplug your USB drive. (just unplugging can corrupt your data) Hope That Does It!!! Blair

Just changed my oil in my MSU 500..boy it was dirty..it's dusty ,very dusty here when it doesn't rain. Used Actevo 10w40 JASO M2 wet clutch oil..manual says 2 qts but it took 2 1/2 qts to get it where I feel comfortable..Some shops recommend 3 qts or more but I just can't see it..crank spinning in oil can't be. Good

Just an update. Still wouldn't recognize the music USB with modified extension cord. Light beside USB connector is on. K&S

If anyone is looking for the cheapest UTV, with dump bed, winch, roof and windshield, I just noticed that lowes has the axis 500/ hisun UTV on sale for 4500 (at least in my area) They are $4500. ($9000 original). I have one - they have some issues, but nothing catastrophic. My biggest complaint is that it is under powered. Also the winch failed. They are still selling an extended warranty - which I would take, just in case. My guess is lowes wants them gone.

Decided to do an oil change on the Massimo ...drained oil, screen was very clean even tho oil wasn't. Then went to remove old filter.. holy crap ..I tried every tool I have, could not budge it..Went to store and got one of the end cap type..fit nice and tight, put a 1/2 in drive ratchet on it..nope..not moving. Put a 18 on breaker bar o. It. The inside of the removal tool broke off!! Had to weld it back together. Put a pipe on the bar for more leverage. Finally broke it loose.. I have never seen a filter in my 55 yrs of working on engines so tight..And i was the one who put it on 2 yrs ago. JUST HAND TIGHT!

Hey Blair, we've tried a couple of options, however still not recognizing the USB drive. We've tried all songs in root directory, organizing in folders, and using a 16Gb drive vs. 64Gb. It could be that the Verbatim drive is too wide and won't seat all the way in? I've taken a USB extension cord and shaved down the sides and see if that will work. Try to do it this evening. Ok. So one thing I would offer is don’t involve more than one variable at a time. Pick a problem, and go through everything involved from beginning to end one step at a time in a logical order. Such as overheating- engine runs, you made the fan run and still overheating. What’s left? Water pump, possibly air pocket in the coolant, blown head gasket. I know it tries your patience but you can do it. Did you replace the fuel filter? This thing was on a construction site and you even commented on how dirty it was. What are the chances it could have dirt in the gas tank? Good luck. PS Don’t throw parts at it. That is expensive, time consuming and usually ineffective. Pop Bob

This post is to goes back to November 2nd 2024. I want to 1st thank Steve G for taking his time to reply to that post & let him know that, I finally got my 2021 Hisun Axis 500 started & able to idle. ( I wasn't pushing the brake petal ) 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️! So now that I've got it started , I let it run for a little while 20-30 mins then it gets hot. Tested fan ( directly to battery ) it worked. Replaced the sensor in lower part radiator & cooling sensor, still getting hot. Traced out wires, seems to be all good. Any suggestions?? I also put it in gear Low, High, 4×4 High, & Low , gave it some throttle and FULL throttle and was able to go a WHOLE 0.2 MPH, WTF NOW?? Checked the wheels they spin freely, in Neutral, & in gear , well they spin as well but you can tell they are in gear. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Also would like to give UTV BOARD A BIG THANKS. So THANK YOU UTV BOARD!!! I've learned a lot from the BOARD, just reading other people's UTV posts and UTV problems.

2015 Hisun 700 Utv the break pedal seems to not fully throw therefore it won’t engage the switch in order to start. it throws enough to stop the UTV but not enough to engage the switch. I used it this morning, started fine, did some work then shut it off to talk to a neighbour and it wouldn’t start after. I can hear the injectors working but the break pedal doesn’t seem to go all the way down.

Haven't been able to find a video on it. How difficult is it to do and any tips, pics, diagrams, videos on it?
