Here is a view of the engine compartment on the Hisun Strike 250 with the floor removed. You can see here where we wrapped the exhaust header with heat wrap as well as some of the coolant hoses to prevent heating issues. We also wrapped some of the electrical wiring to prevent any heat from getting to them.

Hi, fenders look great. Mine chipped out where a rock hit it. (right rear fender in the pic).
What material did you use and how did you form them?

Ever since I replaced the plastic engine cover with an expanded metal cover (See photo) I have not had any cooling issues on the motor. It is important to blow out the radiator after every trip as the passages on the radiator are very small and plug up very easily. I also changed the rear fenders to 3/16 polycarbonate and bent them so that the wheel could not hit them in the upswing.

if you are questioning that gray part it is an oil reed to drain oil back into the crankcase.
