This is an EFI engine. DO NOT PRESS DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL TO START. Turn key and listen for the gas pump to stop, approx. 5 seconds then turn key all the way to start, keep foot of the gas pedal until it's running. I also had starting and plug problems at first.1 point
