Your problem is the forward reverse switch. It's easy to change, takes only a minute. Pry the old one out with a screwdriver, push the new one in. Tell your service manager to get one. When you take the old one out, you will notice the pole for the forward is bent, or off center. It's a defective switch from the factory. I had to replace two of them before I got a good one. I think its a pretty widespread problem, thought it was over with. Lionel1 point
