Machine is fixed and running normally.

Today I intended to try to figure out how to disconnect the EPS, and see if it would operate without power steering, but, instead, the EPS was working. I drove it apprehensively for about 15 minutes, both hands firmly on the steering wheel, and it never jerked to the left. But I don't think I can ever drive it without the fear of it doing that. I certainly won't drive it with speed. BTW, I'm seeing what appears to be that EPS system on Amazon for $1190-ish.
