If you have a windshield what I did was cut a few inches off the top and bottom it did not stop it but it helped a lot. Another thing i have herd of is to put a back on the cab. rocmoc said it will also help to remove the bottom of the dash. Cutting the windshield and removing the bottom of the dash will allow the air to flow through the cab and not create the vacuum caused by the windshield. And did you do anything about the rear wheels?

Do they keep the mud off I could only find 4 1/2" flares and if I remember right the tires stick out almost six?

I plan on getting some aluminum tread plate to extend out from the fenders and hang a rubber flap off the back of it for the front.

Mine look the same way I thought maybe I tweaked something jumping but maybe not after seeing rocmocs.

Yes as far as I know this is for real. They will take our guns atvs bikes and sxs will be next if we do not stop this. They keep saying the big three are making big trucks and suvs that no one wants. I bought a Honda Fit and I hated it it was the most uncomfortable car I ever had. The first chance i had I got rid of it and bought a Chrysler 300 awesome car. I will not be purchasing a subcompact car again my favorite car is my 74 Caddy huge car huge motor awesome ride. If some people want hybrids good for them let them buy one but why force everyone to buy one. If they force the big 3 to build them it will kill the American made car and bring us 1 step closer to a one world government.

Did you have to pay for the new drive line?

Is the new one drive shafts or CV shafts?

When we started getting all the snow I thought it was cool we haven't had much snow in about 12 years just cold. But I am starting to get sick of the wind we get its not so bad for me I live in town but my folks live 12 miles out of town at the lake and the road drifts in every time they plow it. My folks are lucky to get out every 6-10 days. The last time they got out they got stranded and spent the night in their van in a small town and then spent 3 days with us and 3 days with my great aunt before they could get home.

Here are some pics of the incredible amount of snow we have this year. The Jimmy in one of the pics has 8" of lift and 36" tires if I stand next to it I cant look in the windows and I am 6' tall. Well we are having a record winter over 56" so far and no end in site. This morning it was 47 below 0 with out the windchill 56 with in another town it was 52 below with out the windchill brrr. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 25 - 35 above Thank God. I will have to get some pics I have a GMC Jimmy with 8" of lift and 36" tires and its almost covered with snow in my back yard.

It blew oil again today I cant find any thing wrong. I have checked the hoses and I can blow through all of them so I don't think anything is plugged.

Would this work if it had a floating ball in it insted of steel ball it would float up and and get sucked into the upper end?

You are not alone I just cant add to what you are saying way above me. I do love reading it though.

We have had a record month and year for snow we had 13" last night and Friday we had 8". We have gotten over 36" in the last 6 weeks. I cant see one of my cars in the back yard. This is just incredible and we are supposed to get another 3" tomorrow. I don't think it will ever quit. I am sure glad I bought a new snow blower last month. I think next year I will get tracks for the Trooper it goes good in snow but I think 6' in the ditches is a bit much.

I changed my oil to Mobil 1 10w30. It is not blowing oil now. It seams to be venting just fine. When it happened i was running only about 10 minutes I drove it about 30 on Tuesday and it was just fine no oil blowing out any were. Hopefully this will take care of it but I will keep a close eye on it.

Great info would it be possible to get some detailed plans so I could have this done to mine? I would have to take it to a shop I don't have a good welder or the know how.

15-40 is what I have or had in it now its all over the floor of my garage. I think I will go with synthetic I was going to anyway just wanted to get through the first few changes first. I will also go with synthetic gear lube.

What weight oil would you suggest up in the north country in sub 0 weather. I had all my oil blow out the vapor tank I am guessing it was to thick to drain back to the oil pan.

We had a blizzard up here this weekend got about 8" of snow 45 mph winds and temps of 25 below wind chills of 45-55 below. Took me 2 days to get my diesel started had to put a space heater under it for 4 hours to get it to start.

What do you think about fox 2.0 adjustable shocks would this be over kill?
