    With the upcoming changes to Googles privacy policy, I will no longer be using any Google product with the exception of gmail (when I find a replacement, it will go also). A GREAT search engine is DuckDuckGo.com. They do not keep your info or track your computer usage. Give it a try. rocmoc n AZ

    Devildog, One last thing to check before you pull the diff. Make sure the locker cable is fully engaging and disengaging. If only partial, could be slipping on the edge of the teeth of the pinion nose. Adjust or disconnect the cable and make a test drive. rocmoc n AZ

    I may combed a trip trip of Rocky Point and El Golfo one of these times. We enjoy Rocky Point and El Golfo would be a complete different twist. rocmoc n AZ

    Thanks for the info. Lots of info posted on net about San Felipe South & West. Nothing about where you are. I don't think there would be that many takers on your offer. We are RVing Baja pulling the Trooper next Nov/Dec. What do you know about El Golfo? That is a location that is on my off-road bucket list. rocmoc n AZ

    I know of at least one Trooper owner that blew the front diff. I would jack the front up and rotate the wheels and see if I could locate the source of the clunk before I got too alarmed. Check diff mounts, CV joints as well as the diff itself. Sound can travel so could even be the front driveline. Good luck! rocmoc n AZ

    But he is talking about a Renegade which I still believe was only a 800cc. I am pretty sure the Viper came as a 1100, 1600 & 2000. BUT the viper did not have a locker diff and the Renegade did. Where are our remaining Dealers? They should be jumping in here with the info!!!!! BEDROCK, Does your diff have the locker feature? If it doesn't it isn't for a Trooper or Renegade but a Viper. rocmoc n AZ
