  1. I would trade you a Trooper rear diff for the Renegade diff. I already have a Renegade front diff. First, how do you know it is a Renegade? They look exactly the same. rocmoc n AZ
  2. Everything is the same but the gear ratios are different. The Renegade has a lower ratio. rocmoc n AZ
  3. Welcome Glade, Where are you? rocmoc n AZ
  4. Go with the RZR! or better yet get TWO Arctic Cat Wildcats and travel together. Nothing in the UTV market with a VW engine. rocmoc n AZ
  5. Where would / must you off-road? Two locations in the mountains and two locations with sand. Also one location you will return to. Mountains: Silver City, ID Ouray, CO Sand: Killpecker, WY (going this next summer) Coos Bay, OR WILL RETURN TO: MOAB, UT rocmoc n AZ
  6. That would be great! rocmoc n AZ
  7. IMHO, they will not work! They do not compress enough. See my post of http://www.utvboard....rch__1#entry659 Just subtract the travel from the extended length and you get in around 18 or so compressed. Be careful !!! Lots of post on here about shocks. Do a search for shocks rocmoc, shocks Lenny and shocks Kinarfi for as a few who have changed out or modified their shocks. rocmoc n AZ

  11. There are some past postings on here about the front diff, how it works and how the 4x4 engages. You will have to do a little searching. Most of the post were by Lenny. Do a search for front diff Lenny. He may even read this and post again or PM (Private Message) you. Kinarfi and a couple others may even chime in. rocmoc n AZ

  22. We flew in & did the southern tip of Baja last year, La Pas South. We have flown in many times to Southern Baja but have never done the North. We have RV'd many time on the mainland so this is just completing an item on the Bucket List. Also have many friends that live on the way down and will stop to visit. They all say there is some good off-roading near them hence the reason the Trooper is going. We will cross at Tecate, Yup where the beer is brewed. Still lots of time for someone to go with us. We have been to some great Holiday Parties in the RV parks of Mexico. rocmoc n AZ
  23. Utvboard forum members, always be careful who you provide private personal information to. It is your responsibility to protect yourself. rocmoc n AZ
  24. We will be headed to Baja with our Trooper & Motorhome Late Oct / Early Nov. We will work our way South no further than La Paz and return. Slow going down to take advantage of the warm weather and quickly back as it will be cooler. Gone 2-4 weeks. Come & join us. This is an easy trip SOB, South Of the Border. Have been planing this for a couple of years and there are plenty of places to use the Trooper. Camping is inexpensive about half boondocking and half in parks. Fuel is cheaper than in USA. Will return after Thanksgiving. rocmoc n AZ
  25. Kinarfi, I am emailing you directly. rocmoc n AZ
