  1. Hello Bruce, Mine was doing the same thing. I tried the old style flasher but did not work. Kinarfi or someone else may jump in but my opinion is the new flasher uses a much lower amperage because of the micro technology. I have not come up with a solution except finding a fair priced supply which I have not found yet. I will post when I find a fair priced vendor. They do have similar at Autozone but have not tried any. rocmoc n AZ
  2. I may have an extra within a couple of months. Keep in touch if you don't get another and/or I will try to contact you when I get it. rocmoc n AZ
  3. Welcome lumpy. Sorry to say on this one I can't help. Maybe one of our electrical experts will come up with something. It does take time to sort out the bugs. I bought one of the first 50 Troopers, not built like the rest & with a lot more bugs, in '08 and I can just now say it is becoming a great machine. Everyone surprised to hear me say that, LOL!!!! Hang in there. rocmoc n AZ
  4. OK, Brostar isn't coming, Jamboree is cancelled. LOL, ONLY KIDDING. There will be others in the future for you to make it to. Would have been nice but life's needs seems to get in the way of our fun plans sometime. rocmoc n AZ
  5. Lenny, I good with the numbers. rocmoc n AZ
  6. No. After I found the bolt hitting the rod I moved on to other priorities. Maybe next summer. rocmoc n AZ
  7. Isn't Pomona nearly 2 hours away in the LA basin? rocmoc n AZ
  8. Last Jamboree I rolled over the greatest distance traveled prize money. Now it appears Lenny is going to beat me out this year. The last 3 Jamborees I have traveled the greatest miles, this year only 388 miles. So Lenny, are you going to forgo the prize money to attract someone else to attend? I do think there has to be a minim miles traveled since the location is so close to a metropolitan area. Rick & his Beach Buddies have it too easy, a few hour pull. Heck my fuel alone is going to cost around $350. So I think there should be a 250 mile minim. What ya think or have I ticked everyone off? Lenny, do you remember how much the prize money is? You and I put it up and I think it was $20 apiece. I will add another $10 this year (the economy is worst this year) for a total of a $30 contribution to attract someone with a long haul. rocmoc n AZ
  9. Agree I am one of the really quiet Troopers. Lenny's supercharger wasn't overly loud but his rig is so quiet it is the only thing you hear. rocmoc n AZ
  10. Lucky SOB, you have water, LOL! Just kidding, I hate to dig ditches. Hopefully you will get out soon. rocmoc n AZ
  11. What a delight to drive. Easy on the hands since the power steering was added and quieter. Only one noise remaining, trying to get as quiet as Lenny's except for is whizzing of the Supercharger, and getting really close. The only remaining noise as I bounce, rock & roll down the trail is the rack & pinion. One way or another that will be gone in next year's projects. Finally becoming pleased with the machine!!!!!! I have a new signal light flasher and will install over the weekend. Took a ride before quest arrived and we sat down to eat. Going for another ride over the weekend! rocmoc n AZ
  12. I looked at my driver '08 Trooper and my '09 parts Trooper today. Entirely different. I think it is going to be hard to get the '08 parts (which includes the switch) as time passes and maybe already hard to find. My switch does not have a indicator light anyway. Only a few of the early Troopers exist so most parts houses aren't going to have '08 parts. Toggle is the way to go, I would use a rocker toggle myself. Good luck! rocmoc n AZ
  13. Our fingers are crossed! rocmoc n AZ
  14. Wouldn't be too bad after I took the parts I want, diffs, trans, motor, swing arms, axles, brake pads and a few more items. LOL, heck it sounds like I need to keep most of it. Things like gauges, body parts, gas tank, switches, cage, frame tube and the like are the things I would sale. My luck would be as soon as I sold a fender I would crunch one of mine on the Trooper and would be hunting for a replacement my sale at FULL price. Pricing is the tough part in my mind. Always tough to do business with friends. Want to give it away but ya can't. One thing is sure it is taking up valuable inside storage that would be nice for something else. Staring to feel like a hoarder or one of those guys the American Pickers would like to visit. rocmoc n AZ
  15. How much is it going to cost? rocmoc n AZ
  16. Man, the water & mud is tough on a machine. rocmoc n AZ
  17. Thanks Rick for the input. I just hate seeing people need parts and I know I could fill the order. My time has slipped away with other projects and priorities so I am at the point of looking at other options. You know the saying, Best laid plans of mice & men go to C*ap, LOL! rocmoc n AZ
  18. 99.9% complete. I have since bought most of the missing parts. BUT I have so many projects and other interests it will be YEARS before I would ever get it together. It is stored inside so no problem with weather. Time is the biggest limiting factor. I bought it because as I have posted, at some point I have to modify my swing arm hubs or install the new ones that came on this T2. The T2 is brand new never registered. Was bought from Joyner with parts missing. rocmoc n AZ
  19. I have a nearly complete second 2009 Joyner Trooper T2. I originally bought it for parts but when I got it home because it was so complete started thinking of putting it back on the road. (Like I need another project) What would you do? If I parted it out the parts would not be cheap as I did pay a pretty good sum for the thing. rocmoc n AZ
  20. I saw one on Ebay more than a month ago. Quickly looked up completed auctions but it did not come up in the last 30 days. rocmoc n AZ
  21. Congrats but sorry you won't make it. It has been a while. rocmoc n AZ
  22. I have a one set of 2 NEW ITP Dunestar paddles unmounted. Would sale them of $75 plus shipping. rocmoc n AZ
  23. I rode in an new Arctic Cat in Sept, it was blue in color. While it is a good machine, it sure was very uncomfortable. The seats were hard as rock and fit poorly. We didn't do anything but go a short distance in a circle so no other review of the machine. rocmoc n AZ
  24. OK our reservation is made arriving the 19th. Good News our business in LA is the weekend before so we will be there Sat & Sun. Talked to Cal and he said technically you are required a Dunes Pass when you go to the Glamis Dunes area. But he said there is an area about 30 minutes away with huge dunes that is rarely to never used by anyone therefore no one there to check for Dunes Pass. If you go on further to the Store you will get tagged. I also asked if we arrived earlier or stayed longer if there was a problem and because of the time of year NO PROBLEM. Nice guy, even gave me his personal Cell # should we have a problem or need access to him directly. Rick, I am PM his number to you. rocmoc n AZ
