  2. I like it when someone makes me laugh ! rocmoc n AZ
  3. Kinarfi, are you using a Latex glove? Maybe your Trooper is allergic to Latex and causing swelling, LOL ! Pull the Oil cap off the top of the valve cover and see if it releases some of the swelling. May take a couple of minutes. Also try starting cold with no crankcase pressure with the Oil cap off and see if the glove swells. Just install a slobber tube to nearly the ground and just let it vent to the atmosphere. rocmoc n AZ
  4. Welcome Leadfoot. Take a look at my gallery and you will see what I did. Unbolt them and mount them in the same location under the fender. Original location looks like the dune buggies of the 70's. rocmoc n AZ
  5. Just put here together and have fun. I am going into the second year since I replaced the bearing and became aware of the Hub issue. Run her until the wheels come off, LOL ! rocmoc n AZ
  6. Sounding BETTER ! rocmoc n AZ
  7. Today's paper said Phoenix had the hottest August on record and the record was set in the late 1800's. rocmoc n AZ
  8. Won't be available until mid-Oct. Oct is always great weather in AZ. rocmoc n AZ
  9. OR should I say this is a Joyner check-in! rocmoc n AZ
  10. Summer just closed! AND it was the SECOND HOTTEST summer on record for Arizona. AZ has 150+ years of weather records. This is the first summer that we can't wait for it to cool. Never in 10 years have we ever wanted to see summer end but we do this year. It has been so hot and humid (at times), we have not had the Trooper out since the Jamboree. If it keeps this up we will have to move to a cooler location like UT or ID. On the bright side we got a tandem Kayak for this winter's trip around the Gulf of Mexico & Florida. If you have noticed we are not been adding /Mexico to our signature any longer. Just too unsafe currently to go to Mexico so have to go somewhere else in the winter. We have been using our/MY Senior Pass for the National Park Campgrounds, what a savings! There are a few good things about getting older, not many, LOL ! Who knows Senior Pass may go away with the upcoming budget cuts, so using it a much as we can now. Just babbling to generate active on the board. Are you all still ALIVE ! rocmoc n AZ
  11. For myself, I am looking for power assisted steering which is different than full power steering. Full power you can drive with your finger tips, but power assist requires some manpower. rocmoc n AZ
  12. We are in the same understanding! Can you or have you posted a pic of your smart car rack? rocmoc n AZ
  13. Thanks Lenny. Question. You have a 3:1 rack and the stock is 2:1. Which takes the most effort to turn? I have my understanding but I want to hear yours. rocmoc n AZ
  14. A bigger carbon fiber steering wheel is only $50, LOL ! http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Spec_D-Tuning/Steering-Wheels/Universal-Spec_D-Tuning-F16-Carbon-Steering-Wheel-_-320mm-_-Black-_-SW_9410032_BK_BS/772089/ rocmoc n AZ
  15. Can you put a link to a inline gear reducer ? rocmoc n AZ
  16. What happened? I have tried everywhere to get/find a Renegade rear pinion. Do you remember who got the broken diffs at the Joyner auction. They should have a few. If you find someone, get a few, I want one after you to complete my set. rocmoc n AZ
  17. Going old school here. The Trooper steering wheel is 13 3/4" dia. Our car & truck both are 15". Old school was to use a larger dia steering wheel to help with turning effort. How about it. Maybe even a 16" wheel ! Also makes a big diff what size wheels & tires you are running. Of course our 31X15's are gong to take more effort. rocmoc n AZ
  18. Happy B-day.
  19. next time, rocmoc n AZ
  20. Lenny, would you say with the new power steering the Trooper drives as well in 4x4 full lockout as before in 2wd. I would be very happy if it drove easy in 2wd and like it does now in 2wd in 4x4 full lock with the power steering. Get what I am saying. I am trying to compare/gauge where your 4x4 full lockout feel is. rocmoc n AZ
  21. I have both of them. I am sending you a PM with contact info. rocmoc n AZ
  22. YES! Should, no diff in requirements. rocmoc n AZ
  23. Upload them to your gallery on your profile page. rocmoc n AZ
  24. Pretty sure I have one, will look in the garage tomorrow. rocmoc n AZ
  25. Hay, all us dirt bike dudes land hot wives. Oh, oh your talking about brains. My hotty says I am shallow. LOL, she is right ! rocmoc n AZ
