  1. This is a location in Southern Utah, http://www.rubysinn.com/rv_camp.html http://www.brycecanyoncampgrounds.com/ http://www.rubysinnatvtrails.com/atv-maps.html http://www.utah-trails.com/index.cfm?fa=search.home&submissionMode=form&page=Utah-ATV-Trails&sortby=name&show=10&resulttype=map&start=1&keyword=&difficulty=Intermediate&difficulty=Hard&types=ATV&x=36&y=10#search-tabs http://www.rubysinn.com/06-atv-site/ http://www.rubysinnatv.com/index.html More confusion! rocmoc n AZ
  2. New upper mounts are cut and ready to weld. Bought a Millermatic 180 Mig today and put the thing together. Have to change out one 220 V plug on the house tomorrow and will hopefully have the new mounts weld on the Trooper by early afternoon. Also need the mig for repairs to the spring hangers on the trailer. Got tired of using my 40 year old Lincoln Stick welder. Got spoiled using my buddy's Miller Mig but he had to move away for work. Now I will get things done! rocmoc n AZ
  3. Welcome! Where ya from? rocmoc n AZ
  4. As the head of the Courts, I rule everything meets current USA ethics code as demonstrated by our elected officials. Vote early, Vote often & don't pay your taxes! And quit counting, LOL! rocmoc n AZ
  5. Is the snow from driving in the snow or being parked outside in the snow? rocmoc n AZ
  6. Mods get as many votes as it takes to select the location they want, LOL! Saint A is going to win. What ya think this is, Dancing With The Stars? It is, an Off-Road version. rocmoc n AZ
  7. 1062 miles is just the first leg of a min a 3668 mile trip next summer. Can I claim the entire trip mileage and have a crack at the pot? rocmoc n AZ
  8. 1062 miles for us. Nope, no robbing of the Pot until the person shows up. You can give him your pot but mine stays until arrival. rocmoc n AZ
  9. Kool & thanks, rocmoc n AZ
  10. I don't have a problem with expanding what we would do in Saint A. I would just add a day or two to our trip. I will add $25 to your pot to encourage someone or two to drive a longer distiance. $15 of mine into the furthers and $10 to the person who is second furthers. LOL is furthers a real word. rocmoc n AZ
  11. Snowman, I use to live just east of Dallas. I have to agree with you if I compared the weather of the the two locations. It was not hot compared to AZ either but we did have the AC on. Would be nice to camp once without having to run the gen for the AC. The heater runs off of the batteries. What is your choice? Pretty sure it is Ouray. rocmoc n AZ
  12. Saint A is a cool weather area. Only accessible in the Summer. I believe we are all in agreement after the last two years of HOT weather, even tho it was suppose to be cool in Farmington, WE all want somewhere cool this year even if we have to run the heater at night. rocmoc n AZ
  13. The central mountain range of Utah, Marysvale North. Some one or a local who knows the area would have to narrow it down if that is the selected location. Marysvale South to the UT/AZ border would be the Southern Ut area. rocmoc n AZ
  14. Help us pick a location for next summer's Trooper Adventure Trip. Any brand of toys is welcome even a dirtbike. I will have mine there again! rocmoc n AZ
  15. Saint Anthony, Id is 6 1/2 hours from Maryvale Ouray, Co is 5 1/2 hours from Maryvale And of course less for any Utah location including MOAB! I would do it again but it can be TOUGH! There are easier runs, we were with a difficult group when we were there. I believe we have a date but someone needs to pick a location. Soon I will, LOL! Kinarfi, can you sit up a poll for the three locations? Shoots I would even do the area around Lenny's / Southern Utah. Kinarfi, add a forth location Southern Utah! See if we can get people to pick. And a fifth, any of the locations! Thanks rocmoc n AZ
  16. Border Patrol did the same to a couple of the best trail here also but have let a few others get worse. So the other trails are now the good trails. Cinda, did you get a new email address and send it to me. I have not opened yet until you confirm. Take care, rocmoc n AZ
  17. Just as long as we are not just driving around on smooth fire/forestry roads. Has to require at least 4X4 on occasion. rocmoc n AZ
  18. Welcome but I'm no help. rocmoc n AZ
  19. Ok, Jan. 7th - 9th is it. rocmoc n AZ
  20. UT has a lot of trails , http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/utah_list.htm
  21. Rick, Lenny and anyone else who wants to come. Second weekend in Jan. 2011. which would be Jan 7th - 9th. Would that work? Historical weather says it should be warmer than Dec. And Lenny you could follow us back to the house and complete your AZ visits. You too Kinarfi! My parts for the trailer arrived tonight @ 8pm via FedEx. I still have to do a lot of welding & installation. Also parts for the heater won't arrive until next week. rocmoc n AZ
  22. I guess most are a bit mature on here. Old like a fine wine! Well if know one steps forward, I pick June 24th - 26th. Lenny, If no one else steps up I also pick Saint Anthony Dunes. There is a campgrounds, http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:TIzH0tFjVUAJ:www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/idaho_12709/ride_f904.htm+sand+hills+resort+st+anthony+rates&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us with bathrooms & showers and wifi, a dry camp / boondocking location if you don't want pay for a campground and hotels nearby in the town of Saint Anthony. We will be staying in the campground and reservations will be required to be made after Jan. 1st, 2011. If someone wants other, you have to step up at this point! I am just trying to get the ball rolling and it will not hurt my feelings if some else steps up. Still don't have a problem with going to UT high country or Ouray, CO. rocmoc n AZ
  23. Lenny, I guess, is now the one sitting the date. Lenny, Car 54 where are you? Not did I just date myself? rocmoc n AZ
