  1. I think Lenny has!
  2. Well if they are who they say they are, performance should be impressive. Weight off one of the 4x4 1100cc machines was around 800 lbs and the other around 1200 lbs, use of chromoly 4130 tubing. And automatic trans. Worth a phone call. A long distance call. rocmoc n AZ
  3. Depending on which date, should one of the dates I proposed is selected, we will be going to one of the other locations on the other date. In other words, if Saint A is selected for the June date, we do Ouray on the July date and the opposite with the dates switched. rocmoc n AZ
  4. Always enjoy a chuckle, LOL! For being retired, my schedule is not always flexible. Long standing comments every year! rocmoc n AZ
  5. OR July 15th -17th on our return trip. My first choice is Saint Anthony. Camping locations look great, both hookups & dry camping. Lots of room to get in with any size of rig. Bath room & showers for those without facilities. http://www.thesandhillsresort.com/ http://www.dunereview.com/saintanthonymaps.htm http://www.duneguide.com/sand_dune_guide_st_anthony.htm http://www.duneratt.com/Sand%20Hills%20Resort/Sand_Hills.htm There are a couple of us, yes I have been contacted, that need to tie down a date. Guess I am the pushy one, LOL! rocmoc n AZ
  6. Update for Lake Havasu to Yuma trip. Still waiting for trailer suspension parts. Shocks have arrived and will be mounted in time. I am going to leave my existing rear bearings and pickup NEW bearing from Silverbullet at the end of the trip. Silverbulllet you are welcome to join us. Lenny believes he may be ready about the 14th. It will take me that long as well. rocmoc n AZ
  7. What did you guys do about the large dia hole for the existing Joyner shock? The new Fox shock takes a smaller bolt dia so a smaller hole in the mounts. How did you make the holes smaller? rocmoc n AZ
  8. Shocks arrived today. Sure are Purrtty. Got most of the plates for the new mount cut today. Will refine tomorrow and hopefully start welding. I have to weld the spring hanger on the trailer at the same time. rocmoc n AZ
  9. Here are my dates, June 24th - 26th. Location High Country in Ut or Ouray, Co. or Saint Anthony Dunes, Id. http://www.dunereview.com/saintanthony.htm http://www.ridingarizona.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27262&highlight=ouray We have to be in Sun Valley, Id the next weekend so whatever it is; it needs to be between Tucson, AZ and Sun Valley, ID. and in COOL weather this year. I want to run the heater instead of the AC this year, LOL! Yeah, I know Ouray is a little out of the way so that would be my 3rd choice. rocmoc n AZ
  10. Any updates? Is it still Blanding? If not how about Ouray, Co.? High, high mountains so will not be hot. Lots of AZers go there. rocmoc n AZ
  11. Agree, time is not on Joyner's side at this point! rocmoc n AZ
  12. Hay, ya know the saying, Silent Waters run DEEP! Don't under estimate quiet time as being non-productive, we just have to wait and see! rocmoc n AZ
  13. Lenny, tried to leave you a PM. Will try to email you thu regular email. rocmoc n AZ
  14. Rick, All depends on parts arriving. One of the problems of living in the sticks. Everything has to be shipped. I will let you know the moment parts arrive. Sure sorry about pulling your chain on the time frame. Also Lenny may be ready. rocmoc n AZ
  15. WELL, and a deep one! Looks like the left bearing is going, nearly 1/2 of my neg camber is because of the bearing. The right side is not at bad only about 1/4 of the neg camber is caused by the bearing. Needless to say looks like I am now tearing down the swing arms. Rick, TOO much work now. Still waiting for trailer parts for the suspension rebuild, shocks and now the rear bearing. The left one is too loose to chance an outing so I don't believe there is anyway to make the 10th. Lenny, when could you be ready to meet Rick and me at Lake Havasu? rocmoc n AZ
  16. They are a good piece of equipment. Quiq, I am sending you a PM rocmoc n AZ
  17. My Fox Shocks are coming 50 compression & 70 rebound. I still get one revalve of my choice in the future. I will consider the revalve after the LH to Yuma trip (if my parts arrive for the trailer). What are you numbers? rocmoc n AZ
  18. Will do! rocmoc n AZ
  19. Their off-road desert valve package. I didn't ask for the specs. I told them what I wanted to be able to do, preform like the race trucks on the off-road tracks, and they said that matches their off-road desert setup. rocmoc n AZ
  20. How did you guys know your wheel bearings were failing or failed? What sound or signs? How in the heck did you hear it with all the noise the Trooper makes? Curious! rocmoc n AZ
  21. Spoke to Off Road Warehouse about the damping valving for my shocks this morning. The valving will be set for off-road racing and I get one free revalve after I try them out. SO the trip in a couple of weeks will be the trial. Turns out the valving & online orders are done at the Balboa store and this is the one I have use in the past. rocmoc n AZ
  22. Welcome Northern Nevada. rocmoc n AZ
  23. Rick, I am taking this off line to the PM. I'm sending you a PM now. rocmoc n AZ
  24. I don't know. You guys know I run bigger tires than most, size matters. Do you have an option for 31" tires. LOL! rocmoc n AZ
  25. I DID IT! I am going with my new plan as my pot of gold has a bottom. This is what I bought, http://offroadwarehouse.com/products/sfID1/12/sfID2/113/sfID3/93/productID/164. If you put in the word BLACKFRIDAY in the coupon box in checkout you get another 10% off so my total for the two shocks was $243 with free shipping, no tax & one additional free re-valving if I don't like my first choice. This is going to work best for me. I am already so pleased with the ride of my trooper and this is just going to make it better. The total plan takes care of my swing arm issue. If I replace with coil overs in the front, someday, then I will have two back up shocks & spring setups for the rear. As a side note the Toyhauler's suspension is going to require a rebuild again. We did one at 30,000 miles on the original factory parts and replaced with better parts. The better parts lasted just over 70,000 miles. So this also has to come out of the pot of gold. There is also damage to one of the spring hangers but I will arc weld and re-drill. So Rick I am working on the trailer and will keep you updated for the Lake Havasu trip. Should still make it as long as the weather stays good as the trailer is outside. I should have tore is down in the trailer garage but I did not have a plug for the welder. rocmoc n AZ
