  5. Hello Quiq, I was thinking the same thing where have all the people gone and I was going to post my earlier post but you beat me to it. So I had to post my song anyway. Glad you enjoyed it. We are still on the road in the RV but will be home Monday. Been gone 3 weeks. Have to make some RV repairs before we meet Rick in LH. Door on the Frig broke the lower hinge and is falling off, one of my spring hangers has worn a slot in the spring/shackle bolt hole so the shackle bolt is moving up and down with a couple of the axle springs and a lady ran a stop sign in the SF Bay area and hit my truck. Already has been estimated and it came in at $2470 of repairs to my truck. But we are fine and doing well. BUT can't wait to get home! Lenny I wll make my own new hinge as I read on the internet that is a common failure with the RV frigs. Will us ALUMINUM! On the positive side I will have the $ to order at least the rear shocks and hopefully will have enough soon to order the fronts also. Problem is I have to get new corner weights for the Trooper since I made all the changes to the cage the Trooper is lighter and weight is redistributed. Well that is what is happening with us. Take care all and hope you are looking at getting that Turkey. rocmoc n AZ
  6. A couple of us have been looking for a stronger upgrade. Nothing yet! Lenny's upgrade kit for the existing diffs is the best thing yet and he is now trying a lower gear set. rocmoc n AZ
  7. Please post where the quad is located! rocmoc n AZ
  8. When you find it, I want to know too! rocmoc n AZ
  9. Kinarfi, remember you added my pics to the photo file for the lower mounts I added to my swing arms. This was when I pulled my engine. I believe there are also pics of Lenny's when we changed over his shocks. His pic included his bump stop. rocmoc n AZ
  10. When I poured the concrete floor in my garage I installed two Tie-downs in the concrete floor. These are used in Body Shops for straightening frames and other heavy work. You will have to visit and we will tie your Trooper down and use a jack to straighten the swing arm. My dad was a Body man and I grew up in the buz. That is what I am going to do to mine, both of mine are in neg camber, but not until I install the new shocks in their new location on the swing arm. Both Lenny and I have move the lower shock mount further out toward the wheel to more centralize the impact to the swing arm. That is the real fix! Much cheaper than new a swing arm. rocmoc n AZ

  12. Thank you for the info Jeff. rocmoc n AZ/CA
  13. I run the higher psi because it is easier to turn and with the 31's I have plenty of flotation. Also beware the lower the pressure, the easier to pop a bead if you hit something with the sidewall. I popped the bead on one of the factory tires at the higher factory pressure. Bummer to change tires on the trail. rocmoc n AZ/CA
  14. Hello Rick, I am not home to measure but I believe I am around 15 to 20 pounds with the 31's. Kinarfi is running 30's and would be better with that size. Remember you may have to air down in sand. rocmoc n AZ/CA
  15. WOW, thanks Rick! Looks great for pulling the Toyhauler in and plenty of places to camp. I like the fact there are a few other RVs around. Works for us, how about you? Hopefully you will be able to take the weekend off. Anyone else? rocmoc n AZ/CA
  16. Oh, we have some of that white stuff on top of the mountains around us. It crept down off the mountains once last year but I stayed inside because I didn't know if it was dangerous. It left by noon and I could go outside again. We have mostly sand & rocks so don't really know what that dust stuff is either. rocmoc n AZ
  17. What is that brown stuff on your Trooper? We don't see that around here, LOL! rocmoc n AZ
