  1. Doesn't count until 2951 km, LOL! Just kidding, that's a lot of riding. I don't ride until it's ABOVE 60 degs. rocmoc n AZ
  2. Wow, turned 2000 KM today. Purchased my Trooper in Dec. '08. How many other members? rocmoc n AZ
  3. Depends on the design and material. I rolled a Jeep once and the roll bar failed. This is why I just beefed up my cage on my Trooper. Was way too cheap & weak from the factory. Hope everyone was OK. Take care, rocmoc n AZ
  4. Weekend would be good Rick. We would just move down to the Ehrenberg Sandbowl http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/arizona_03061/ride_fb25.htm after the weekend. rocmoc n AZ
  5. Well we aren't coming to LH without you guys. We will do only the Yuma loop, LOL! Good luck, rocmoc
  6. For Yuma or on the way to Yuma I am looking at at least a couple of days at http://www.azgfd.gov/outdoor_recreation/arizona_ohv_trails_places.shtml scroll down to Sandbowl OHV Area. More of the same location http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/arizona_03061/ride_fb25.htm rocmoc
  7. Rick, I am looking at Craggy Wash as a campsite, http://www.frugal-rv-travel.com/craggy-wash-free-convenient-quiet.html or http://rvarizona.blogspot.com/2009/12/free-rv-camping-near-lake-havasu-city.html How would that work for you? rocmoc
  8. For Yuma, probably Dec 14th to 20th. LH the 10th to the 14th. Closest guess for now. Anyone have any campground recommendations for Yuma or Lake Havasu? rocmoc n AZ
  9. We have talked ourselves out of going to Baja. SO, We are going to make a trip to Yuma, AZ. in Dec to ride. Any interest? Maybe we can get a tour of SilverBullet's Shop/Store, show us his stuff and talk him into taking us on a day of guided tour of the area. If not, we will be there anyway sometime towards the second half of the month. May even make it up to LH to ride with Rick. Rick are up for it? Just starting the brainstorming! rocmoc n AZ
  10. Not a story of or for Success! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  11. Nope! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  12. Honestly I would NOT purchase my Trooper again. Love that I have it but there is no comparison with Honda. I have had to make WAY TOO MANY MODS to stabilize it. If I had to to it over again I would look at RZR or the New Can Am first. You will have to be major mechanically inclined or have a health wallet at time goes by to keep the Trooper on the road. Parts are not nearly as available and thus far the Company it's self is not dependable. Aftermarket is nearly non-existence even tho a couple remarkable dealers are trying. I have been to the UTV Rally in Moab and can say the others preform nearly as well and are easier to drive at times. Have no plans of selling mine but would not buy another. I have had mine since Dec '07 so have played with it a lot. Still have my '83 Suzuki PE and '04 Honda CRF450 so I do know what quality is in off-road equipment. I had hoped that by this time Joyner would have stepped up their game but they are / have p*ssed away the opportunity! I will always give my objective opinion even if it hurts. JMHO! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  13. Glad to see we are on the same page! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  14. Lenny, on my computer I can blow up the pics. In the second pic I can clearly see a hinge on the two rear tubes of the door with the latch near the firewall. They built them as suicide doors. The side & head protection is stationary. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  15. another pic http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/28081535/129_1006_4908+2010_top_truck_challenge_mini_rubicon+ryan_knoche_1990_suzuki_samurai_buggy.jpg
  16. Was watching Outdoor Channel's Top Truck Challenge last Monday and say this little Suzuki Sumurai with the type of doors I want to make. Was much better views on TV as you could see the door opens. Here is a site of some still pics http://www.fourwheeler.com/top_truck_challenge/2010/129_1006_ttc_10_tow_test_ryan_knoche_1990_suzuki_samurai_buggy/photo_10.html rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  17. Plumber, the rattling noise is a GOOD noise. It means your pad is free to do it's job. They place clips on street cars to keep them from rattling but increase drag on the pads to the rotor surface. Racer always remove the clips to get max speed/power. IT IS A GOOD SOUND! All of my toys rattle except the two street vehicles. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  18. Looks GREAT but of course at this point with the cage mods nothing will fit, LOL! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  19. Good morning Alex, Lenny is the turbo guy and a couple others. I am old school, want to do it with CCs and cam. In fact I would love to do away with the CPU if I change out the engine. Big believer in the KISS principle, Keep It Simple Stupid. Easier to fix when you are in the sticks. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  20. Welcome Alex! Thanks for the kind words. I WILL address the engine/trans exchange when the current one cost more to fix than to change out. Right now she is running great but would love to have MORE POWER. LOL! Silverbullet in Yuma, AZ has an electric power steering setup AND Snowman / No Limits in Arlington, TX has a slick hydraulic setup. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  21. Thanks for the morning chuckle and vote! LOL! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  22. This would carry a lot more creditability if you did not hide behind a alternative log-in name. Who are you? I always have concern when people share very little info in their profile! Sadly there are TONS of persons & scams out there we all must beware of and usually on both side of an issue or event. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  23. Personally I believe an address & a COMPLETE profile should be REQUIRED to sale an item on the site but that is out of my control. Maybe if I was a Super Dupper Moderator. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  24. LOL! Thanks Kinarfi. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
