  1. Lenny, you are correct on every count, Trooper is an Excellent Concept. Just needs refining & strengthening. BUT for a 4 seater the Rhino is better than the RZR. There were Two slick 4 seater setups at Farmington. Anyone get pics? When we were at the UTV Rally, I was very impressed by ALL of the toys. Heat, heat, there ain't no stinkin heat! It has only been 100+ everyday since we returned.
  2. If you are not mechanically inclined, wait for the new version about to arrive. Many improvements. Some will not like me saying this but it is MHO! Get a Rhino! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  3. We are in! Remember we need room for the Rig. Just looked at historical weather. What timeframe were you thinking? Times we are not available, Apr & early May, end of July & early Aug, end of Sept & Oct.. Len (Lenny), we would tie this with a visit to your area & Coral Reef. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  4. Kinarfi, Because you have found corrosion in a couple of components, I would guess that is the root of your problem. JUST WHERE? rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  5. Sounds good, you will have to come down and play in my backyard. Temp isn't a problem, only holding around 100 all week. rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  6. I think that is the only way Mobil 1 comes! rocmoc n AZ/Baja
  7. Filler bolt on the Left Front of trans up mid-way near battery. Bolt faces forward. Open and stick you finger in. If you feel oil, it is OK. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  8. Mobil ! 20w40 in the engine and Royal Purple in everything else. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  9. AND NO DUST! If we go to somewhere that requires us to ride dusty trails or roads, then I suggest it be during a little rainy season. Then we could go out after the LITTLE rainfall. This is what we do here in So. AZ. We are not riding currently as it is way too dusty. Within the next two weeks, monsoon season starts and we go out after the daily/bi-daily rain. Thus no dust. Man am I a pain! rocmoc n AZ/Baja

  12. We actually enjoy the warm/hot weather, Main reason we head South into Mexico in the winter. We have not been in weather above 105 for a couple of years so will see if it is too hot for us. Was in 104 the other day and no problem. rocmoc n AZ/Baja

  15. Yup like that Silver stuff. Currently have two Silver ones now and one of my past race cars was Silver. I would NEVER claim this myself but my better 3/4's had a Silver Min-Van when I met her but long gone. I fave is BMW Alpine Silver and that will be the color. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  16. Painting it Silver this winter anyway! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  17. Thanks but if I buy anything it will be a deal or they can keep it. If parts go high I will be modifying what I have. Example is if I can't get an axle cheap, I will rebuild mine. Luckily I don't have to live by just Remove & Replace. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  18. My shopping list is as follows, Front & Rear Diffs Front & Rear axles Trans ECU Brake Pads Clutch & Throw-out bearing Sensors Spare Parts Frame with swing arms Shocks If anyone knows how to tell the Trooper part from the rest, please share the info. Also if anyone else is going, lets Talk. Stupid to drive the price up on each other. I will have a trailer there to haul if someone else from Southern AZ goes. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  19. Darryl, The powerline pic is on private land. The local guide knew the landowners and obtain permission for us to drive the oil field roads, lots of dust, to the overlook. Not to worry, it was not in the Glade protected area. We too do not want to lose any riding areas. I do understand the confession now. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  20. Think I am going to try and make it! Update, Just checked calendar and WE ARE GOING! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

  25. Last post until possibly a wifi hotspot in Farmington. Talked to Kinarfi last night and he was trying to find a better campsite for us. The first one had too much soft sand for the big rigs. I made a suggestion and he was going to call Daven. We will see in about 3 hours. Reminder: I will tie ORANGE flagging to the campsite starting at Glade Rd & Pinon Hills Rd. long the length of Glade Road to the campsite. SEE YA ALL THERE! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
