  1. Have not seen a post of anyone changing plugs. On a positive note, even standard plugs last forever now days with lead-free gas unless you wet the plugs because of an engine problem. Will be very interested in what you do and if you are having problems with your factory plugs. Good luck! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  2. Good luck with the site. You need to spend some time in Southern Arizona. I would share the trails that I ride but then others would come. Can't have that is my little corner of paradise. Siriusly tho, So. AZ has some great trails. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  3. Spoke to Daven the Joyner Dealer in Farmington this morning and he is commented to show & lead us around for our adventure no matter what happens with Joyner. Good guy! I will call JJ for MY camping permit next week so you all will have first hand knowledge of the process. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  4. If I get to run the Mexico Offices/Dealers. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  5. We will be arriving Jun 10 leaving Jun 15. Check the Farmington Topic. See http://www.utvboard.com/UTV-Specific-Forums-f14/Joyner-UTV-Forum-f29/Farmingtion-New-Mexico-June-t1328.html&pid=5568&st=20#entry5568
  6. Time for a little update. The Parks Service knows of our little adventure. They are trying to say we are an organized event and want permits & insurance. Just got the paperwork and will be calling today to talk to the person in charge. WE ARE NOT AN ORGANIZED EVENT! We are friends getting together, no fees, no single person in charge with no idea if one or 20 sidexsides are showing up. EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEMSELVES! Will update later. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico SUCCESS! We are square the the Farmington Field office of the BLM. BUT, a camping permit is required at NO COST. They can be obtained ahead of time by contacting J.J. Montgomery @ 505-599-8984. He needs a week lead time. We will be camping in the Glade. I will call and get my permit soon and post the outcome. If you are not sure if you are going to make the trip and decide at the last minute, BLM ask that you call J.J. in route so you are not harassed over the weekend. BLM does not work over the weekend but the local law enforcement does patrol the area. Also don't forget your Off Road permit discussed in an earlier post. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  7. Just realized I been updated to the wrong location. I will try to move all my post to this topic. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  8. Got mine from Joyner before they closed. Boy was I lucky. Lenny has talked about using the existing pads and having them repaded. I have not seen anyone post using anything except Joyner pads. Sorry but if you find something different, please post your fine. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

  13. Jarrad, Can you make this board aware should the stock run low for Trooper diffs. We can provide support to you with the manufacturer of the diffs, hopefully!
  14. YUP!
  15. Thanks, My odometer does not look like that. I have one of the first 50 units and there are several differences rocmoc n AZ/Mexico.
  16. Pic does not come up for me. YUP I also have Royal Purple in the Trans. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  17. Same as mine with the first oil change but my diff had a magnet in the diff on the drain plug to catch metal. What did you use to replace the oil? I used Royal Purple and later in a discussion with Casey at Joyner, he agreed Royal Purple being the best. Pricey but great stuff. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  18. The Early Troopers are KM only. How does your odometer read out or switch between miles & KM? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  19. Speedo is in both but odometer is KM only. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  20. Nope in KM. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  21. The only thing you can do is screw down or up the rings on the shock to change the rate on the spring. You can add or take away nitrogen changing the damping a little but be very very careful messing with the gas (takes nitrogen tank setup). Not worth the brother on the stock shocks. I will not improve them much IMHO! You could do a search on Google for adjusting gas shocks and get more info. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  22. This doesn't look good. phoenix all for sale / wanted classifieds "joyner rick" - craigslist rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  23. There is major threads/topics on this site just on that subject. Lenny makes a kit that cleans up some of the problems. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  24. I have never seen or have any data on Joyner shocks. Maybe the owner's manual. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  25. Great, I would love to have a set of lower gears. With the 31" tires, I need just a little lower for rocker climbing. Existing gear are perfect for everything else and are OK for the rocks if the lower gears are not available or too pricey! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
