  1. plumber, the diff is the weak link in the parts supply chain. You can all most find replacement parts from other manufacturers for everything except the diffs. If you bust one, you are up the creek! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  2. Quit saying things like that Lenny. How are we ever going to get the new engine transplant business going. The best thing to do is hire us to modify to the new engine. only choice. Have a great evening! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  3. Thanks guys for posting here and keeping us in the loop. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  4. Hopefully we can come up with something that is 4wd or Awd for future upgrades. This is something I will put effort into later. I would like to find something with good aftermarket speed upgrades. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  5. Purchased my 31X10.50X15" tires on Craigslist for $125. I will never wear them out. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  6. I FOUND IT! WOW CAN YOU TELL HOW EXCITED I AM! Thanks, rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  7. WHAT, no one know how to get to old messages? I sure don't. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  8. Good info, thanks. The brake bias adjustment you are talking about is what my race car before this one had. Worked great, will be doing the same myself. Sadly I will not pay $2,000 for a turbo. Before I did that I would go the engine change route. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

How do we get to our old messages of the last week? I have not deleted any but can not find them. What am I missing? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  11. Do a search for trooper muffler or look at old posts. This have been covered in the past. Look at my pics in my gallery & my past post, I have a quiet muffler. My muffler setup was a lot less money. BUT this new muffler you found has not been covered. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  12. brostar, Sounds fair, thanks! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  13. brostar, source for the diffs is number 1 priority. And what happen to those other gear ratios sets. Were they ever made and if they were, where are they? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  14. I saw that and almost bid on it myself. Glad I didn't as we would have drove the price up on the two of us. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  15. An Idea. Everyone send your info to Kinarfi, Cinda & myself via a private message via this site. We will pull the info and keep it. If something ever happens, between the three of us we should be able to contact most everyone. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  16. Agree with Kinarfi, I get enough crap when I post something in Craiglist. Kinarfi, Lenny, Cinda & Flatbed have my personal info. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  17. IMHO, they are gone! We all need to keep a lookout for parts that could be used as replacement parts. As stated before the diffs are going to be the hardest. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  18. Use to be GREAT! I started going in the early 70's with my dune buggys. Now too many people. Be careful, people run into each other out there & get big time hurt. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  19. The Last Time the site was done and came back up, I tried to encourage the same thing. Was not very successful so I have a hard copy, print out, of any info I do not want to lose. Never could get anyone to step-up and put together & maintain a contact list. Volunteer? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  20. Subaru now has a Diesel Hybrid with All Wheel Drive. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  21. I thinks you live in too cold of a climate. I am watching this thread but as of yet haven't had any problems with my '08 Trooper. Maybe the electronics aren't hardened enough for cold temps. Mine sits in the garage never near freezing when not in use and there is no way I am going outside if it is below 50 degrees for ANYTHING. Seems like most of the problems are in cold weather areas. My battery is working fine and did not need a charge after the 6 months of sitting while I repaired the trans. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  22. For Baja the site is BajaNomad Forum, BajaNomad Forums - "Peace, Love & Fish Tacos" I am on both sites as rocmoc n AZ/Mexico rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
  23. Everything depends on where you are going & how long. If you stay in the Free Zone of Sonora & Baja, you need nothing except Mexican Insurance. You need at a min Liability per Mexican Law. I use Lewis & Lewis purchased directly off the Internet. You may wish to call them and ask about the Trooper. I have not thus far, I have it listed under my Pickup's policy but I don't know if it would hold up as it says it is pulled, like a trailer. After 3 days in the Free Zone, you are required to have a Mexican Visa. Outside of the Free Zone, Mexican Ins., Visa & Vehicle Permit, ALWAYS. All this is detailed in a Sticky on rv.net under the Traveling in Mexico Forum. RV.Net Open Roads Forum: New and Improved Border FAQ's rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

  25. A Dealer I know was able to get a hold of his Sales Rep. He was told that another Company was buying Joyner and moving it to a location in Southern USA. The Sales Rep could not share anymore than that. I shared with this Dealer to be cautious with his money as this new Company maybe just after the Intellectual Property and will junk everything else. IMHO, I still think they are gone! If you plan on keeping a Company alive you don't do it in the matter that has occurred, in the dark of the night. This was not transparent to the Dealers or the Customer Base. This was about money to the other Companies at the expense of Joyner. I have seen this too many times when I was in the Corporate World. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
