Lenny, Flatbed & others who may know, I have installed the new lower shock mount directly above the forward caliper and on the elbow of the swing arm going out to the wheel. The upper remains the original mount. The angle of the old shock was approx. 27-28 degree at rest with wheels on and sitting on the floor. My new location places the shock at approx. 38-39 degrees. What do you think? What this does is allow me to install the 10" fox shock, http://offroadwarehouse.com/products/sfID1...8/productID/113 The extension & compression measurements are nearly perfect. I think the springs will have to be a little heavier/stronger. Yes I took pics! Yea, that's what you say, but when you gonna get them posted??? We're all dying to see them. Hurry UP, Please. Start is pretty easy after you clear stuff out of the way to get to it. The starter has two bolts and the start itself is pretty small. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

Lenny, just remember with ceramic you have increased heat. With the cheezey rotors we have will they warp? I have had this problem on pickups before. If no one had address the pads I was going to look at Portfield"s stock inventory. I am going to contact Daven the Joyner Dealer in Farmington, N.M. When I talked to him, he with the help of a friend had located a ProFiction Clutch replacement. I will post. Will be taking the trans to Phoenix after the first of the month. Working on the new shock locations at present. Mounts are made and I will be tig them tomorrow. I am taking pics. Boy do I have a lot of pics. I just need to get them upload. Do you give the fuel pump time to pressurize the system? My Trooper has never started if I turn the key and immediately try. I have to wait until the fuel pump and fan stop making noise. Then it will start. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

Has anyone come up with an aftermarket, BRAKE PAD? CLUTCH? rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

AND as the rattles get quieter, you can here all the noise in the engine & trans. Then you can worry if something is going wrong instead of it's just a rattle. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

Make sure it is not binding at the hydraulic cylinder. If the piston comes out to far it will bind. Then is is an adjustment at the clutch rod. This happen to me when I upgraded the mount. I would be very surprised there is air in the system. Look else where! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

Is there a trail width restriction? Troopers are 60" and mine is 64" with the wide tires & rims. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

I own a Joyner Trooper of which I enjoy greatly and have huge tires & wheels for the sand. Your Rhino is a great machine, take the money and upgrade your Rhino. OR sale the Rhino and get a RZR or bigger engined Rhino which are both good in the sand. The Trooper is good in the sand ONLY IF you spend the money to upgrade to huge tires & wheels. Easier with a RZR or Rhino if Sand is really important to you. The more machines you have, the more time you will spend repairing them. JMHO! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

I was asked if I would come to the mountains mid-state of Utah for the next Jamboree. To share with everyone, I said we would probably pass as I didn't want to pull that far again up 15. I did suggest I would come to the area East of Kinarf & Lenny /West of Page as I could pull thu the center of AZ & thu Page. A lot easier for me. Wanted to share so everyone was on the same footing with the info I am putting out. Timing is going to be the tough nut to crack! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

We went there for the Dome, it is one of a kind. There is a hole in the side where you enter and slowly walk down to a lower level . Then it is a huge 65 foot deep hot spring with a dock. They give you a lifejacket, jump in, float & soak. It is not free and I don't remember how much but it was worth it. They also conduct scuba classes year-around. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

There is a GREAT resort near where you were, Homestead Golf Resort, http://www.homesteadresort.com . They have an incredible Hot Spring that is inside a huge natural rock Honeycomb, http://www.utahdiving.com/crater.htm . A must for one's bucket list. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

In the last week or little more, there has been more law on the highways than I have ever seen before. AZ is in a money crunch (second behind CA in $/resident) and it maybe one way they are trying to add revenue. Also you are suppose to have an off-road sticker or you can be fined. If you have one from another state that has a joint agreement like Utah, their sticker is accepted. This is required even if you are licensed for the street, $20 or 25. I have street plates plus the sticker on my Trooper. This is knew 2009 & they are enforcing. Also there is a State Trust Lands Permit you are required to have if you play on State Trust Lands which are usually next to State & National Forest. If you stay on the road just to cross State Trust Lands into the Forest, the permit is not required if you have the Off-Road Sticker. A bunch of c**p has gone down in the last couple of years in the management of the Off-Road world. Maybe you have just been lucky the other times on the blacktop & off-road! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

Sorry you got bit by the law but I believe that is the only way I have heard you can double pull in the Southwest. Trailer has to be a fifth wheel. TT pulls are just not stable enough. Oh well you will enjoy the Toyhauler. I have a Raptor 3612DS and the Trooper fits fine. I do only pull it 60 mph as in total it is a huge load. WELCOME! rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

If you have never welded on a tank there are two lines of thought. Fill the tank with CO2 or soapy water. You can just weld an empty tank. Be really really careful. I have done it a couple of times but always nervous when I did it. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

We are street legal in AZ and I have even had my on the freeway. Only between two exits as I live in the sticks. Cruised 55mph with no problems. Drives really well. rocmoc n AZ/Mexico
