  1. I've been looking for some tires also. The 30's you found fit the stocks rims or did you replace the rims also. A link would be great since I didn't actually find what you previously posted.
  2. Well as a Gringo living in Mexicali still feeling good about security. I still get to San Felipe and Ensenada a few times a year for the races was just in San Felipe on the 3rd of Dec. stayed at El Dorado which I always enjoy.
  3. Ended up buying a stock radiator. I was at my local race prep shop for the Baja and what the locals in Mexicali were quoting was close to 500 for a custom radiator. So I went with the stock radiator and a fan from Kar Tech that pulls 1700 cfm. I trust the guys that prep the race cars for us, so that is the path I took. Still in need of the sensor though. Have an email into JMC. I've tried contacting silver bullet but not happy with there poor customer service.
  4. Issue resolved for Radiator, now looking for the temp sensor only
  5. Just to put an end to this toggle switches will be used
  6. All I need to replace my radiator, I have been quoted 500 to make one here in Mexicali, which will be a good raidiator im sure of that, but has anyone found something else besides buying just the replacement on line. I saw Lenny took something from an Acura, but he had to make some mods. Is there anything else that is more durable that fits?
  7. Lenny, Did you have to mod anything for this to fit.
  8. Could someone take a pic of the toggle switch mounted for me.
  9. Thanks. I believe I also have one of the early ones also. Since i dont have an indicator light either. So I can ask the mechanic to install a toogle switch then. Since it is bundled with the winch I guess I need to change both?
  10. Trying to get the trooper rolling again

  11. Thanks. Well it's at the shop for a good revision and some repairs at this time. If I can't get the switch then I can ask them to install a google for the mean time Thanks again
  12. I do for know and have called you guys twice. I called yesterday and they said the parts manager would call me back. I need the switch for the 2008 model I need to get one soon and I'm also looking for ball joints for the front end.
  13. It is the dash switch calling Silverbullet again tomorrow for pricing and delivery
  14. Hell I just wish a had a drop of the abilities you guys had. I rely on a mechanic herein Mexicali to help me. The tear down time of the trooper to part it out would be tough and you would be hanging on to it for some time before it is half gone.
  15. Thanks talked to the guys in Yuma they think they have one. The only question was did mine have square or rounded corners. I have the 2008 model it is slightly rounded guess I can send them a pic also. Good thought on the toggle switch though.
  16. Didn't think about eBay. I know I can go to a manual 4x4 but was thinking that might take longer.
  17. I need to get a new 4x4 switch. I believe it is bundled with the winch. Mine is shot last thing I need to be up and running. Any ideas where to get it.
  18. Does the T4 use the same battery, in need of a new one myself.
  19. I was in San Felipe running the river bed with about 2 feet of water, had a great time mudding with the kids. Got back to the condo and did my best to clean the T4 up with just a regular garden hose. The next morning I figured I would get out on the beach with the water resided and run down to the dunes. As I was going donw to the beach I heard some electrical whining, didn't think much of it until I went to use 4 wheel drive, and it wasn't there. I started thinking I did here something like that when I was cleaning it also the night before, but it stopped. As I think about it more it sounds like a selector switch or something trying to go back and forth repeatedly. Not really sure what problem I have. Haven't taken it our for some time now, so battery is dead, but was still able to us it just in 2 wheel drive with no other problems. Could it be easy as a loose connector? Thanks Casey
  20. Glad to see everyone had a great time. Hopefully I can make the next one.
  21. you guys kill me with the things that you have done.
  22. Sounds good, but bad timing for me. I will be playing in the desert here in Mexicali have a night race in the VW bug...Hope you all have a blast.
  23. I've tried to contact Joyner for 3 days, but no luck. I'm in need of a new front rim and tire stock. I live in Mexico and have tried with my American cell phone and no luck, can someone direct me to a website or another phone number to buy what I need. I need to have these by Friday the 19th to make a road trip. Thanks, Casey
  24. I prefer the Lowrance, bit pricy but living in the BAJA and riding hard it is worth it. I am looking for one for the buggy, currently use one in the truck for pitting races. Have been able to drive all over the northern BAJA without problems.
