Leadfoot , were do you ride at do you ever go to brimstone or windrock we have to get together and go riding.I would like to do a east coast Jamboree. How many people on this fourm that lives on the east coast would like to do a ride like the west coast boys do.

That's why I like mine the cable is 80' long and I have used mine about 25 to 30 times 50% of the time is pulling someone else out. Alot of VW rail buggys but I had to used it on the back to pull me out twice it is nice if you can used it in the front or back

Lenny, Could you look over this and tell me if this is right Thanks Thank you for purchasing our stage 1 cam upgrade kit for the 1100 trooper/sandviper The following is a detailed explanation for the cam installation on a trooper 1100cc. 1. First of all to check that your engine is in good condition, a compression check is recommended. 2. Start off by disconnecting your battery 3. Remove breather hoses attached to the valve cover 4. Remove Philips screws and sparkplug wires 5. Remove 10mm bolts on valve cover and remove valve cover 6. Remove spark plugs 7. Measure and write down valve lash on the bottom of the lobe of each valve (16 total measurements) 8. Turn crank pulley until you are at TDC on no 1 (piston all the way up marking on the crank pulley lines up the with marking on the plastic timing belt cover, and cam markings also line up in the middle. 9. At this point you can remove the water pump belt followed by the water pump pulley 10. Remove dip stick from motor plug hole so debris doesn’t find its way in there 11. Remove the upper timing belt cover (10mm bolts) 12. Remove timing belt cam pulley 13. At this point you can remove your old camshafts by removing the 10mm bolts that hold them in place. 14. After the cams are removed it is a good idea to re-torque your head bolts (53ft Lbs) 15. At this point you can install your new cams making sure the three dots line up on the gears 16. Now use the modified cam gear make sure to use the side with the angle machined into it. 17. Now turn the motor and take your valve lash measurements one more time, this will be a higher number than the previous due to the cam’s new profile. 18. Now take the new measurement for example .032 and subtract the recommended specs which are .007 +/- .002 on the intake and .009 +/- .002 on the exhaust which would leave you needing a .025 shim for the intake or a .023 shim for the exhaust.

Has anybody seen this I could do this in my trooper after I install my cams. But I could never get the smell out of it afterwards. Why are they not showing his face mybe he is crying.

Hear is what I found There is a phone number at the bottom # 4741 - KENTUCKY: ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE (ATV) USE RULES Kentucky law: "All-terrain vehicle" means any motor vehicle for off-road use, which is fifty (50) inches or less in width; has a dry weight of six hundred (600) pounds or less; travels on three (3) or more low pressure tires; is designed for operator use only with no passengers; and has a seat or saddle designed to be straddled by the operator, and handle bars for steering control. The "Rules of the Road" for using ATVs include: No person shall operate an all-terrain vehicle upon any public highway or roadway or upon the right-of-way of any public highway or roadway. Exception: Persons may operate an ATV on any two-lane public highway, if the operator is engaged in farm or agricultural-related activities, construction, road maintenance, or snow removal. Persons not engaged in one of these activities may operate an ATV on any two-lane public highway in order to cross the highway, but may not travel on the highway for more than 2/10 of a mile. Persons who operate an ATV on a public highway must have a valid operator's license and comply with all traffic regulations; must have at least one headlight and two taillights illuminated at all times; and may only operate the ATV during daylight hours, unless engaged in snow removal or emergency road maintenance. <P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0px; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0px">No person shall operate an all-terrain vehicle on any public or private property without the consent of the landowner, tenant, or governmental agency responsible for the property, and unless the operator wears approved protective headgear, in the manner prescribed by the secretary of the Transportation Cabinet, at all times that the vehicle is in motion. The approved headgear requirement shall not apply when the operator of the all-terrain vehicle is engaged in: - Farm or agriculture related activities; - Mining or mining exploration activities; - Logging activities; - Any other business, commercial, or industrial activity; or - Use of that vehicle on private property. The Transportation Cabinet may designate, and a city or county government may designate, those public highways, segments of public highways, and adjoining rights-of-way of public highways under its jurisdiction where all-terrain vehicles that are prohibited may be operated. No person under the age of sixteen (16) years shall operate an all-terrain vehicle with an engine size exceeding ninety (90) cubic centimeters displacement, nor shall any person under the age of sixteen (16) years operate an all-terrain vehicle except under direct parental supervision. No person under the age of twelve (12) years shall operate an all-terrain vehicle with an engine size exceeding seventy (70) cubic centimeters displacement. A person cannot operate an all-terrain vehicle under this subsection unless the all-terrain vehicle has at least one headlight and two taillights, which must be illuminated at all times the vehicle is in operation. A person operating an all-terrain vehicle under this subsection must restrict the operation to daylight hours, except when engaged in snow removal.
