How do you get the axle shaft out of the differentail I don't see the big circlip do you have to take the stub axle apart or can you take it lose from the upper and lower ball joints

Has anybody used different ball joints I have a bad one would like to put a better one in

took the trooper out today and gave it heck no clicking no nonething just started everytime

I believe I have found my problem for twenty dollar's I'll tell you ha ha There is a ground wire that is hooked to the back of the battery box it was broken it was just laying on the ring terminal, It's your main ground it starts every time now

Hi Russ, The only water it was in is I wash off the mud on the engine battery is up 12.5v I have the solenoid wire off twice so I think it's making good contact

Well I change my ignition swicth still doesn't start while I was searching the internet I found this http://www.type2.com/bartnik/starter.htm . I have done everything it said and everything check out but the solenoid I'm going to have the solenoid rebuilt it will take a couple of days to have this done I let you know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem right now I took the starter off and took it to autozone and they put it on a machine and test it and it was ok I took the starter off with out taking anything off but the starter I took the starter switch apart it has two copper plates in it that turns to make it work I don't think it's the starter because I can used a pair of pilers on the starter to solenoid and it starts everytime I think it's the switch I'm going to put one on a good one not a joyner one

Does all winch cable bind up like the one on the trooper. Can they be fix or buy a new one

Just got back today from Black Mountain {harlan county} had a great time it's 6000 acres rode for two days I don't care what people say about the trooper I think it is one bad ass machine I went up hills through mud holes in two wheel drive like it was nonething everybody came over and ask me what is it I told them a joyner trooper there are not very many of them around here I seen a group of people at breakfast said hi and went on later that day on top of the mountain they were taking a break Talking about me and then I pop up over the hill they said they were talking about me was my ears burning ha ha they came over and look at it everybody like it I only had to use 4 wheel drive a couple of times I look like 4x4x454 going up that hill I wish the wife went so she could have took my picture Here you can't drive the trooper on the street but in this town you could it felt funny driving on the street come right off the trail drive right up to the store
