I have my 2009 T2 for sale. It has roughly 2200 miles on it, runs great. Lots of aftermarket upgrades and custom work. Very reliable. A few upgrades are turbo, eps, upgraded diffs, doors, HD clutch from silver bullet, etc, etc. i also have 2 extra diffs that will go with it, approximately 10 new axles and a ton of other parts. Message me for more details if interested. 501-680-3289 asking $9800

It was a night and day difference. I don't have any numbers as far as HP and Torque. With my 28" tires on the pavement mine begins to pull the front end when it boosts. The front passenger tire will leave the ground a few inches in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Right now I have 30" super ATV intimidators on the buggy that are actually 32" tall. It doesn't pull the tires with those on it but it will go anywhere I want to go with authority, just drive it on the aggressive side.

I am running a Mallory fuel pressure regulator (PN MAA-4305M) for supercharger and turbo applications from Summit Racing. Just run vacuum to it from the intake manifold. I pipe it in with some fittings from local hardware store. I also have a gauge on the regulator from Summit (PN SUM-800199), dual fuel pumps from parts store running in parallel, they are AIRTEX E2000 pumps, you can cross the E2000 with Carter, Bosch, spectre, etc. I like these pumps because they have a lifetime guarantee and I run in mud and water, so when they fail I can run to the local parts store and grab another. Changed the fuel filter out to a 1997 Chevy Z71 filter, once a gain for easy replacement. Not sure if it was necessary but I removed my fuel cell and had a local weld shop put half inch bungs in the supply and return ports of the cell (I don't have aluminum welding capabilities) and run half inch supply line to pumps. 100 octane LL fuel.

The trooper will carbon up causing low compression. Have you pulled the plugs and put a few ounces of marvel mystery oil in the cylinders overnight? I had low compression on a cylinder, put 2 ounces in it for a few days and it came back. Also you may want to run some in the fuel and oil sometimes. Not sure if your interested in doing so but might be alternative to engine swap. I've also put a turbo on mine, plenty of power.

Do you have a part number of the radiator you found and used?

The fuel pressure regulator from Summit Racing, part number MAA-4304MM, the gauge I bought with it was part number SUM-800199. Plug wires were from ebay, Vulcan Extreme 8.5 mm Silicone Universal Race Straight Spark plug Wire Set 8 Cylinder (371047389490), I also put a bigger breather can on it from ebay (360733785808). I run a Fail Safe thermostat from Autozone, part # 7240-192. Something else that helped for the heating issue was I replaced the plastic plate in the bed of the buggy with a peice of expanded metal then added another cooler with electric fan from summit racing (MIO-MMOC-F) and 3/8" hose, this coolers inlet comes from the thermostat bypass on the head, goes to the cooler then to the turbo bearing, from the turbo it goes into the "T" in the cooling system, I replaced the stock "T" with a bigger one I made with fittings from the hardware store because the stock one had a 1/8"-1/4" inlet. This added cooler is piped in with 3/8" hoses, I essentially have 2 radiators. I did this for 2 reasons, one to cool the turbo bearing with oil and water and also to add some capacity to the cooling system, its not a lot but every little bit helps. In the past I had had some problems of running out of fuel at high RPM, I had Nick from Blox (510)440-1605, rebuild my vacuum operated Fuel Management Unit, that fixed my Fuel problem. Not sure what type your running but mine is a 12:1 ratio. Hope this helps, holler at me if you need anything or if I can help in anyway. Good luck!

I can't get the parts anywhere, wound up ordering a new diff from Joyner USA. I'm gonna try and have someone grind me a ring and pinion for it. I can tell you that this one will be shimed, welded, loctite, upgraded hardware and whatever else. Hahahah. I'm gonna start looking for a little 4 wheel independent suspension SUV to alter and put under the trooper. I'm open for suggestions. As far the tug of war contest, that Polaris was absolutely thrashing everyone. When they were hooking me up one of the event workers were poking fun at me. He said, I see you have a K&N filter there and started laughing, I just nodded my head. Needless to say no one was laughing when I took off with his ass! Hahaha

I need a ring (32 tooth) and pinion (15 tooth) for the front diff of a trooper. If anyone has some and are willing to sell please contact me. Got in a tug of war contest a few weeks ago. Broke a few teeth. Yes I know it was dumb, but I had to shut these razor 1000 guys up, and I did. Won the whole deal! If anyone is interested, the video is on YouTube. I've been running a 30 amp fuse with the fan and dual fuel pumps, no problems. I had changed out the fuse box and thought I had wired something up wrong is why I originally posted, but after a lot of riding, no problems with the bigger fuse, still stock fan. My stock fuel pumps gave me some intermittent problems a while back, nothing that left me stranded, but...I saw on here where someone had used an E2000 pump from the parts store. Its an Airtex, very easy to get at any store, and it has a lifetime guarantee. I put a dual pump setup on mine with a fuel pressure regulator designed for turbo/supercharged applications from Summit racing, and also changed the spark plug wires to 8.5mm wires instead of the stock 7mm's. Made a huge difference in throttle response and power. I've also changed out the wheel bearings with tapered bearings and have had great luck with those.

Thanks man, I was thinking about ordering a better fuel regulator from summit too. Are you still running the stock regulator.

Track guy 22, I am running one of Unleashed turbo's setups. Its the dual fuel pump setup that Lenny was talking about. Both Joyner pumps. Had one short out this weekend, un hooked it, ran on one pump the rest of the weekend staying under 5psi boost. Now the other is making noise and starting to cut out. I am thinking about throwing the NAPA one on tomorrow that you have. Is it still working well for you? I am in the south, lot of mud and water riding, would much rather be able to run to a NAPA than have a weekend ruined over something like this. Thanks in advance

Just wanted to share. I am very happy with the way the Trooper turned out. I am an active duty military member who has recently been transferred to Mississippi. No one here has ever heard of or seen a Joyner, so needless to say it gets A LOT of attention. My buddies have nicknamed it "The DOOM BUGGY". HAHAHA Upgraded diffs, ported the intake throttle body, and head. Still wanted some more, added turbo with an additional cooler/electric fan for the water jacket side. Straightened out the cooling system, upgraded the fuse blocks, pitched the stock shocks and had Ride Tech make me some coil overs. Installed 1/2 inlet and outlet on the fuel cell with a spin on filter and housing and 1/2" fuel line. Made a few cage mods. Cut out the stock side bar and welded in some, in my opinion, better looking jams, and built the doors. Covered the sides with 3/8" aluminum plate. Removed the stock off road lights and installed 2 LED's, a 48" and a 12". Built a snorkel off the turbo that comes up the corner of the cab on the passenger side and stops under the roof. We do a lot of mudd riding, had to protect the air filter. Just for kicks for fathers day my boys bought me a Dukes of Hazard air horn, which is popular, obnoxious, super loud, and pretty hilarious. Also installed an American Flag on whip. I am always after something different and this is it. I like the Polaris, Kawas, Can-ams, and Yamahas. The only thing wrong with them is they are way to popular and anyone can go get one and trick it out with store bought add-ons. I like making my own stuff. Hope you enjoy, or I spark a few new ideas.

Good morning fellas, My fan is either on or off. I noticed before I turbo'ed it, I would hear the fan kick on and off once in a while. Then after the turbo, additional fuel pump, and raised the fuel psi, I noticed that the fan never kicks off, I thought I was crazy. But the fact that the fan is suposed to run with the fuel pumps lets me know that I'm not. I am also running 60psi with the turbo and dual pumps. Just wanted to find out. I am in Mississippi, lots of mud. I changed to a weather tight fuse box, but I get mud slung all over the fuse box, wiring, and computer. So I made a box from an old peice of stainless I had that hangs off of the cage. Last night I went for a drive then checked it and noticed a little more heat underneath than I am comfortable with. So I'm scrapping the box. Had planned on making some doors soon, so I think I'm gonna change the cage right there a little to incorporate a side panel to catch the mud but still keep the wiring open to dissipate the heat. When I say heat, I can still hold on to the relays and wiring barehanded, but the way I see it, the less heat the better. I've included some pics of the bare wiring, the heat catching stainless box, and the mud slinging tires. Even at idle I get huge clods thrown on me, which is fine until it knocks a fresh beer out of my hand, and I can't be having that. Thanks guys, and throw any recommendations at me, always open for suggestions. Tried to post some pice, can't do it from my phone.

I changed out my fuse box behind the drivers seat and the relay sockets. Everything was working fine, Then one day the electric fan on the radiator just stays on. I turn the key to the on position, fuel pumps and fan run for a few seconds then kick off. When I start the engine the electric fan runs as long as the engine is running. I ordered a new temp sensor for the radiator, installed, no change. Fan is fused, fuse does not blow, relay gets pretty warm to the touch. Does anyone have any ideas. Obviously electrical is not my strong suit. Thanks Oh, if it matters I have turbo, dual fuel pumps.
