Just want to tell every body who owns a 650 Commando.We have a date that we will recive the rear Differential
The date is July 15 We have 15 units coming to us by air.We will take every one apart and shim and check the bearings and hard whear.We have 4 left to sell.All the rest are sold.Thear will be none made any more from Joyner.Some replace with rengade but thear are a different ratio.And will only last for a while.We also carry 800 cc Viper C/V axles and 1100 C/V axles.It will take some months to get more.We will still carry the C/V axles for 650 Commando.

We use to do them but found out that under cover on top of ball joint.Thear is a cup that has to be drilled big enought to let the grease inter the ball joint.If you just drill out the cover the grease cant get in to the ball joint it just fills up the outter cover and never goes inside.If you have the time you can take cover by grinding the spot welds off then drile a 1/8 hole in to cup and then just screw cover back on and put zerk fitting in and then you can grease them.Time consuming

Warning some one is telling customers that the rengade rear reducer} differential will work in a commando is not correct.The ratio is different then the front differentail on the commando.So if you use the 4x4 your front wheels will be going slower than the rear.That not good!

Jeff we have found out that the older troopers had the fuel pump after the filter.The problem was the pump was a pressure pump not a suction pump.So swap the pump with the filter.First the pump than the fuel filter than the regulator it may help with your pump but it might be to late.We have changed the pump and filter since 2009 and up.

It could be 2 things 1 the 4x4 switch 2 bad 4x4 actuator.With the ignition switch in the run position when you move the 4x4 switch you should hear a buzzing sound from the front differential switch.If you hear the buzz than the switch is ok.To check if the the actuator is to pull out the 4x4 actuator off. There is 1 screw on the driver side and 1 that you have to remove the tunnel by the shiftier to get to the other screw out.Once you have it out plug in the wiring and move the 4x4 switch take the cover off the actuator and see if the plastic screw moves than give me a call.928 344 2117

We just received the shim you need for the rear wheel bearing to take out the play.If you buy the rear wheel bearings they come with them.If you need them for your own wheel bearings.They are 2.50 ea.

We are making the shim for trooper rear wheel bearing.We use them when we sell rear wheel bearing.We will have them in about 3 to 4 weeks.We have been told from Joyner China that there will be no more 650 rear differential being made.We have found that their is a option for and unlocked rear differential still being made.The only thing is the C/V axles will be different.So they will need to get new C/V axles to use the new open differential.This is what i have been told.We will have to see what happens.We have up dated our trooper and viper power steering with 360 watt motor and a bigger transmission.Rated for a 4,000 pound car.Completely water proof and 3 year warranty.We have up graded our hydraulic clutch with Wilwood pedal assembly and master cylinder.You only have to drill 2 holes to install.You just bolt it on and what a difference this system makes driving so much better.The cable system was just the worst thing on the vipers.They would stick and bind and made driving a viper a job to use and then the cable would break.

The 1100 Sand viper is a vary good buggy.Not many problems at all.All parts are in stock so dont worry.Change all fluids And they are a bit heavy but its a good thing.If it is the new style with the aluminum body.That is the best years and newer.Jumping is some of the things you should stay away from.Besides that enjoy!
