  1. Most common problem is the float needle in the carburetor has failed. it's job is to meter fuel flow into the carb bowl as needed, Requiring a carb rebuild or replacement. Do you have the model number of the engine or machine?
  2. It is the belt most likely and thats where i would start as it probably the least expensive component of the drive system. I checked gates, and they only make a belt for the Hisun Tactic 400 or Early strike models. MotorcycleDoctor is pretty much the best source in the States for Hisun parts, have a look at this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/201453293033?hash=item2ee78d4de9:g:z8oAAOSwo0JWKB9b
  3. If it won't start with starting fluid, i would suspect a no spark condition. in that case i would unplug the ignition kill wire from the coil, and then try to start it.
  4. dang that sucks.. i hope you can get it covered under warranty.
  5. remove the air intake duct from the carburetor.. spray some starting fluid or brake parts cleaner (a few dribbles of gas will work as well) straight into the carb, and try to fire it up. if it runs and dies, you have a fuel delivery issue. if it doesn't run at all, most likely no spark, spark at the wrong time (sheared flywheel key) or insufficient compression. If you get no run when you do that, remove the side metal flywheel cover, and unplug the small black kill wire that is hooked to the coil and retry it, if it runs with that wire unplugged, the kill circuit (which is a ground circuit) is shorted to ground or the keyswitch is bad.... Also, be sure you installed the coil correctly, they are directional...it will spark, but the spark will be at the wrong time and it wont ignite the fuel and air mixture. Also be sure you gapped the coil to the flywheel correctly. should be about .012" gap....... It could even be the spark plug. Here is a complete service manual from our download library
  6. However, if i look at the parts list for the 2018 4 seater..... they use the same 409135 engine..... 2017
  7. 8. Great news, i've heard good things about the MX models.
  9. STUD,WHEEL-M10X1.25 0402-974 2012 Arctic Cat PROWLER 550 XT METALLIC GRAY (U2012P2O4EUSS) Wheel And Tire Assembly | Babbitts Arctic Cat Partshouse
  10. I found a manual for it, appears the original plug is DR8EA (NGK) , If that is correct, the NGK iridium is 7803 or DPR7EIX will work. they appear to not come with a terminal nut on top of it, so you can swap it out from the old plug.
  11. Seems Kohlers have that problem more so than Briggs and stratton or Kawasaki engines most likely the mud is the cause for the broken magnets though, it almost looks like a dirt dauber nest in there. if you need help looking up the part # post the model and spec number of the Kohler engine. I would advise replacing the stator as well if there any nicks or broken wires on it.
  12. If it was carbureted i would say you have float/ inlet needle issue. but being EFI, i have no clue. best thing to is take it to the dealer.
  13. Glad to hear you're on the mend!
  14. How ya feeling?
  15. It's still under Kawasaki's Three year warranty. let the dealer look at, no need to risk voiding your warranty by messing with it, as dealerships can be picky about that. i always advise people, if it's under warranty, and there is an issue. let the dealer look at it. and fix it.
  16. download and have a look through this service manual it should have a troubleshooting section, or a wiring diagram so you can see which wires go to what and what they do.
  17. I have what appears to be an antlered doe, you can see the udder sack under the rear two legs, and barely 2 spikes on it's head. i have a better daytime video if it.
  18. Kawasaki Mule 1000 / 2010 / 2020 / 2030 / 2500 / 2510 / 2520 /3000 / 3010 / 3020 / 500 / 520 / 550 / 600 / 610 A lot of the older mules use a float and sight glass for viewing fuel level in the tank, mine, like many others has been fogged over for several years making it hard to see the needle. I've used all sorts of cleaners in an attempt to clear it up, but none ever worked long term. I finally discovered this kit from ATV Works for $17.00, just the sight glass and new attachment pin (which you can not get from kawasaki) Kawasaki want's you to order the entire float and gauge assembly for nearly $40. I ordered it last night and it hopefully should be here by the end of the week. When i get it in, i will make a video on how to install it.
  19. so far the 26mph gusts haven't even made it creak, but my hat almost blew off my head.
  20. What im thinking about doing is waiting until Lowe's gets some 10, footers back in stock (they told me they didn't know how long it would be) and get 4 of em, I can use the front end loader on the tractor to support a corner at a time, take the 8 footer out, dig down two more feet and get it the same height as the previous 4x4, just deeper in the ground= sturdier.
  21. Oh yes, i have plenty of experience with the tamping bar, it's been used by 3 generations setting pull posts for fences.
  22. You saying i'm hefty?
  23. I think i will add an upstairs next with a Full master bed and bathroom.......
