  1. sounds like an issue with the CVT belt system. have you replaced the belt recently? possible to be slightly too short and cause that problem... or the engine is idling a bit too high.
  2. LOL, 8 bucks from E-bay
  3. Welcome! If it is a belt driven system, either there is an issue with one of the CVT pulleys not fully disengaging., or have you replaced the drive belt recently?
  4. I've always adjusted small engine idles by ear..... but i finally decided to buy a tachometer... it came in the mail today so i tried it out on the mule. it's the kind that wraps around the plug wire. fire the mule up, the idle RPM spec in the manual is 1,300... and the way i have it adjusted now it was idling at 1,260, let it warm up and bumped it up to 1300, which wasn't much
  5. Welcome aboard! i imagine there are a few people on here that can help you out,

  21. maybe a tad on the wishful side... It may turn into a Johnny Cash song.. eventually you may have a Yamaha UTV "One piece at a time"

  23. Red wire goes to the + lug on the solenoid Black wire to ground (Frame, engine, wherever there is a good spot for a ground) i wire brushed the bolt and spot the ground wire goes to prior to installing it. Purple wire with the MALE connector plugs into your trigger wire Purple wire with the FEMALE connector plugs into your trigger tab on the solenoid. Putting it right there was the only spot i could think of. i drill a 1/4" hole in that metal plate, also it gets a little bit of cooling air from the fan there.
