And of course, a welding job is not complete until you finish welding and you pick up the material where it's hottest......and drop it REAAAALLLLYY quick. it also nice because the nuts for the tailgate cables and the holes in the side of the bed from the factory line up perfect so they also help support it.

When not in use, either fold it straight up or it is easily removed in a few seconds by loosening the wing nuts, and then folding it up and tightening them by hand. the bolts/wing nuts are through pre-drilled Factory 8mm (5/16") holes. total cost is about $22 is flat stock 2 48" x1/8" x2" pieces, $2 for the wing nuts and bolts, and 1 welding rod and a half.

Hauling 9 5 gallon feed buckets is kind of tight for space in the dump bed, and if you need to carry a mineral block, extra feed and what not, that stuff won't fit in the glove the compartment! So, here's what i devised. i originally planned on having 2 simular pieces instead of 1, but i think this will do just fine. the longest piece is 40 7/8" and the 2 shorts are 13 1/2"

Mine's doing great! Still wish I knew what was up with that old starter. But this new one has been flawless. Just rolled over to 1500 hours.

I've got 6.5HP briggs mower with a connecting rod chirp/rattle. It's been doing that for 7 or 8 years. Some times stuff will make noise and never break.. Then something that sounds good breaks just like that.

610 mule spark plug fouls after short use

White plugs means the engine is running very lean and hot. The battery shouldn't have anything to do with the ignition as it's magneto fired, but it seems like it does. -
610 mule spark plug fouls after short use

I couldn't find the NGK spark plug number used, but it seems like a lot of people recomnend using a colder spark plug in them than the factory plug. It sounds like the heat rating is too high When the heat rating is too high: The spark plug temperature remains too low and causes deposits to build up on the firing end; the deposits offer an electrical leakage path that gives rise to loss of sparks. https://www.ngk.com.au/technical_info/heat-range/ -
I use a tech spark manual that is on a CD for my mule, well as of a few days Adobe Flash is no longer supported and my CD manual wouldn't work. If you have a Techspark CD repair manual and you get this screen when you go to the manual, Here is a work around! Download this: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/runasdate.zip it allows you to run a specific application on your PC before a certain date (think of, going back in time) Now, after you download it, you should be to this point click on what i have circled in red , When you click on it, you may have this pop up, Click RUN. Then this will appear, click on BROWSE. then click on Techspark Studio under DVD RW drive, that will bring you to this then click on start, as soon as you click on start, that will take you back to the Run As Date application, then click the RUN button in the lower left hand corner and if you did everything right, your manual will load and work!

No matter which doctor I go to for a general checkup, they all hit me on the knee. I think they get a kick out of it.

If you want a Hisun, Read through the Massimo forum ( i believe HiSun makes Massimo).... Honestly, i don't think they're worth the steel they're stamped out of.

Either way, I'm going to recommend Kawasaki, i love my mule to death. all depends on if you do alot of work and hauling/towing, or more for playing around and speed.

Will low entry level prices hurt the used UTV market?
Travis replied to IslandHopper's topic in UTV General Discussion
i doubt it, Personally if i were in the market for a new side by side, i'd rather pay 5-6 K for a good used Mule or Ranger than say, a new massimo or chinese unit. -
That would be my next step.
-
I'd replace the battery.

Kawasaki Mule Parts. Information**updated**
Travis replied to Travis's topic in Kawasaki UTV SxS Forum
I haven't found a good online partshouse here in Texas, besides ordering through my local dealer, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is the next best thing, if the part is in stock at their Kentucky wharehouse, it gets to me no later than 3 days from order date.
