  1. you're very welcome. Hope it helps you out.
  2. That might could work.....
  3. i guess go ahead and try it with the can... just be sure not to get on anything hot i.e. the muffler/exhaust pipe.....
  4. You probably could, i just use the trigger spray to eliminate the risk of a fire via the propellant.
  5. Okay, I finally found it on the Kawasaki website, the stock output for the alternator is 15 amps..... I know most lawnmowers that use a electric PTO for the blades put out 20 amps. Kawasaki still sells the big 50 amp alternator kit for this 4010.. but it's anywhere from $300-500 bucks.
  6. Get WD-40 or similar... something that the engine can burn as fuel.... gasoline not recommended though. In a TRIGGER spray bottle, no aresol can. and spray the WD-40 around where the carb mounts and intake gaskets. if there is any change in engine speed or it blows smoke, you have a gasket leaking... Be sure to spray the area liberally.
  7. 1,400 hours on the 2001 Kawasaki Mule!

  8. That could cause an issue... usually air leaks will cause the engine to surge though but i would replace the carb gaskets as a starting point.
  9. I was able to get a part number for the axles and what other machines they fit. Land Pride Part #826-456C REAR AXLE SHFT ST, 24T INT.SPL - Price: Call For Price This part appears in the following assemblies - click on any assembly to view and order the part: Manufacturer: Land Pride Model: Treker 4420ST Assembly: Transaxle Rear and Axle Shafts Manufacturer: Land Pride Model: Treker 4220ST Assembly: Transaxle Rear and Axle Shafts Manufacturer: Land Pride Model: Treker 4410ST Assembly: Transaxle Rear and Axle Shafts Manufacturer: Land Pride Model: Treker 4210ST Assembly: Transaxle Rear and Axle Shafts
  10. I saw a few on Ebay for the 4420 i think was the number, said it had 18 splines... might contact the seller and see if they will fit.
  11. Don't see why it wouldn't work... But (there's always a but). I'm not sure if having to charge two batteries and run lights....might be over tasking the alternator a bit...I don't know.. I tried to find what amperage the 4010 Alt is but no luck. I think stock they are usually between 9 and 20 Amp
  12. sounds more like it's Carburetor cleaning time...
  13. Does this have a safety switch so it won't start in Gear? My mule acted the same way one time, turned out to be the neutral safety switch.
  14. WOW! That is insane!
  15. Just look both ways at the stop sign so you won't have to stomp on the brakes so hard ...
  16. Couldn't find any info if the two belts will interchange, but i did look up aftermarket for the 2018, I searched through Gates website,, high quality belts. Gates shows 31G3569 G for the CVT drive belt for the 750,
  17. Challenger 500 or Challenger 700?
  18. Hit the nail on the head!
  19. I guess go back to the basics..... Fuel Spark (at the correct time) And Compression What I would do is fit an Inline spark tester to the plug wires, and when it won't restart, crank it over and see if you're getting a constant spark.or intermittent... https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-20610-Inline-Spark-Tester/dp/B0002STSC6
  20. Try pushing the gas peddle down to the floor when starting, and let off as soon as it starts...my mule has been similar as long as I can remember, but hold the pedal down and it would probably start right up in the north pole! One thing I would do is pull your spark plugs out and check them to be sure you aren't running too lean..
  21. I try to Buy American whenever and wherever I can... It may cost a few bucks more, but it sure is worth it...
  22. slick looking machine, πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
  23. Could you take some pictures or what model Subaru engine is it?
  24. 3600 is pretty much the standard for Max rpm for small 1 or twin cylinder engines, Some manufacturers will governor them to 3600Max, but they are usually safe up to 3800-4000 rpm... I was told this by a guy I know who is a Briggs and Stratton MST,, Kohler and Briggs and Stratton found that with the RPM set at 3600 is where the highest torque/power produced at the lowest revolutions... So in a sense more efficient and less wear on the engine.
