It looks like It just fits around the brake panel, and then the drum fits over it. I wonder why it has that seal around it? Mine (Even though it's a 550) doesn't have them. I guess I'm not sure which part you are talking about. do you mean the ones that cover the axle nut? Do you have the part number so I can look them up?

Okay, weird thing. Go out and fire up the mule, it idles PERFECT. I drove it around for about 10 minutes. Then let it idle for several minutes. Drive it around some more. Then let it idle, idles perfect. I guess the b12 chemtool I put in it worked it's magic...

Yep, I'm about to take off my carb, as you know it's been idling rough. Then dying. they say these Mikuni carburetors are real finicky. I've had good luck with Chinesium carbs for Briggs engines. Though I hate to buy them OEM is so dang expensive.

Could be, I put a new Champion plug in about 6 weeks ago. And it started all the sudden, it ran fine that morning and went to go start it later and it wouldn't idle. But it idles good at 3/4 choked.

My ol mule is acting up suddenly. It doesn't want to idle, it revs prefect just not idle. It eventually dies. I'm thinking something in The idle passage is plugged. Any other suggestions are appreciated that I may have over looked. Brand new Wix fuel filter. That carb has been on for 19 years and never cleaned. Just b12 chemtool in the tank. I may hook up an auxiliary tank and see if it's fuel lines. But probably not since it revs fine.

The following may or may not work I've done this before: Cut off the plugs (should be male and female) of The utvs connector, and strip the wire, install crimp connectors. Do the same for the Light connector. Even though it's pressurized, the oil level would have to be above the pickup. Look up brand newengines.com they have repower page that shows you what engines will fit your equipment. Most important is crankshaft pto length and diameter, and electrical.
