  1. What type of ignition system does it have? Is it like a car with a distributor, or like a lawnmower with a magneto flywheel magnets?
  2. What's the model name? It could be it has a rev limiter on it for safety.
  3. https://www.kolpin.com/products/gun-boots-grips-carriers/gun-racks Welcome to the forum! I searched for racks specific to your model, and couldn't find anything. Except the above link. Good luck! And Shoot Straight!
  4. You should probably get an answer by contacting HiSun directly. https://www.hisunmotors.com/contact/us/ PHONE: 972-446-0760
  5. Spent the last 10 minutes searching, with no results. What machine is this going on? Engine? I did find this https://www.dbelectrical.com/products/carburetor-connection-yamaha-yfm350-raptor-04-13-carburetor-complete-pd36j.html I have bought a lot of electrical parts from D&B and have never had a problem, so hopefully their carbs are good too.
  6. https://www.polarispartshouse.com/oemparts/partsearch/polaris?partsearch=2683817-317 if you click on "Where Used" it will show you all the Polaris models that seat was used on. That might can broaden your search.
  7. As in lower seat, do you mean the one you sit your hind end on? If so, I found the part number for it, 2683817-317, babbitts online has it for 460, bike bandit has it for 430$.
  8. Great!
  9. Welcome to the board Ed! Nice looking machines!
  10. Carburetor or fuel injected?
  11. To add to what kenfain said about storage, I will advise you to not put the name brand Sta-bil in it, I've seen it many times on small engine carbs, and v-twin Briggs where the owner added it, and after a month or so, it acts like ethanol, and crystallized inside the fuel system. At some point with a fresh tank of gas add some Berrymans b12 chemtool. whenever the Mule started to run rough in previous years, add a bit of it to the fuel tank and cleared it up after a few days driving.
  12. There has been a few times I wish the windshield was a bit wider on the Mule during winter. I finally got a brown carhartt coat, keeps me warm.
  13. Doing it with a tarp like you said sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure of the durability of enclosures for 50+ mph for 300 miles. You could tarp it, and use a ratchet strap to secure it around the Mule. If it's easy, I would remove the windshield, cause if one rock gets kicked up by another vehicle, you'll have a hard time seeing out of it.
  14. Good looking machine! It'll last you for years to come! Thanks for sharing the photo of it!
  15. Here is a very good long independent review on it https://www.utvguide.net/kawasaki_teryx_review/
  16. If you have a volt meter, set it to DC 20 volts, put + to + and - to - Then start it, or crank it over, if the voltage drops to 10 or below its bad. Also most auto parts stores test batteries for free.
  17. GREAT news! 457 to bore a cylinder!!!!! Yes, you should dispute that charge. That is bull crap, machinist down here told me on mine $20 for honing, and $50 if it needed bored.
  18. Could be a coil failing after it gets hot.
  19. Hows the mule coming Mikey?
  20. What type of ignition system does it use?
  21. One big advantage with the 2017 pioneer is that they upgraded and put a better transmission in it. I really think the main thing when buying a UTV is having a good dealer close by, for parts, service and any possible recall fixes.
  22. You might check out Rocky Mountain ATV/MC they sell hundreds of different wheels and tires for utvs on their website.
  23. Welcome to the forum Carl!!
  24. There are several places online that sell rear seats that bolt onto the bed for the ranger, Most Mules are 2 seater (seat 2 comfortably) unless you get one of The newer Teryx or Pro FX which cost some $$$, There are snowplow attachments for virtually every UTV.
  25. I have no clue, I've read everything right and left and all through trouble shooting sections. Never ran into a problem like it....
