Do not use car batteries. Too many cranking amps. can fry ur starter possibly. Could be u need a new generator coil.

It sounds like the timing could be off. Seems like it's not firing very strong. I'd contact Hisun about it.

What kind of belts does the engine have? Drive belt, timing belt?? If you could message me audio or video on here that'd be good. Do you KNOW for sure its coming from the motor, or transmission?

Did you get it split apart?

Knock pins are just hollow pins, usually on each side or across from each other. Sometimes you can us a rubber a mallet to tap the 2nd half off, Do NOT use a regular hammer, in case it s aluminum. I do not own a Joyner, so I wouldn't trust my into 100%😉
