One thing, the score marks on the piston (S) IF YOU CAN HANG A FINGER NAIL, YOU NEED A NEW PISTON

Does the cam have a compression release? Are the valve guides even>

Be sure to replace Vavle seals piston rings crank bearings bearing in the cover case check the cylinder head for cracks

How do you install/un install the Compression release on the Camshaft? They have pins you knock out, but there is like a little hole with a "Keeper" you might call it. do you have to use a press to press them in or what? I know the CRANKshaft, the mark is pressed mark on a tooth.

01 Mule 550. I cant find the timing mark! Is the dot on the 1st pic a timing mark or is it an OIL passage? The 2nd pic is just whole cam it self. I can get more pics if need be.

I figured the 30 dollars would be cheap insurance against me doing it, and messing something up worse. Let the Pro's do it, Unless you REALLY know what your doing. @vaughn Ever watch "Taryl Fixes All" on youtube. Pretty hilarious!
