I'm not familier with this buggy at all. Does any of the warning stickers-badges give any idea? (on top of the fuel tank)

Thanks for the update. Very cool buggy and great engineering. Mine still has the Subaru-Robbins 9 hp but is doing the job. I wish I could rig a fuel tank and a better exhaust system.

With the older cars with limited slip rear ends you had to use certain fluid. It might be the cause of your problem. Has it ever been changed? How many hours, miles since the last change? Mine is still running great and doing all that is asked of it. I did lube the shifter cable and change the oil a few times. Other that that it has been trouble free.

Be sure to lubricate the cables.

This is the only clutch I could find for it

I thought these had a CVT clutch. I can't find any information concerning a wet clutch.
