  4. Smartest statement I've heard today. As Clint Eastwood said "A man has to know his limitations." Valve jobs are not for the inexperienced in my book.
  5. Sounds like it's not charging.
  6. Still sounds like a break between 12 volt power and the switch. Still looking for a wiring diagram.
  7. Which wire are you jumping? Red or red/black? What if you jump from the battery straight to the ignition switch?
  8. I'm trying to figure out what color wire is the "hot" to the switch. That seems to be where the problem is. It has to have a "hot" to make every thing else work.
  9. No. Of Positions 4No. Of Terminals 7Manufactured by Delta Systems Inc.The letters on the back of an ignition switch stand for the following:M = MagnetoS = Starter SolenoidL = LightsA = AccessoryB = BatteryG = GroundI = IgnitionR = Regulator/RectifierThe designated terminal connects in some manner to that component. For example, the B terminal connects in some manner to the positive battery cable.

  11. Does the key switch have any letters or numbers on the rear to tell which is which?
  12. Is this your switch? www.amazon.com/IGNITION-STARTER-725-1741-925-1741-92506119B/dp/B073HKHKD1/ref=sr_1_1?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1501528537&sr=1-1&keywords=Cub+Cadet+925-1741+SWITCH-IGNITION www.partstree.com/parts/cub-cadet/parts/925-1741/
  13. Yea, as far as I know there should be power on a wire going to the switch. I'm looking for a wiring diagram but no luck yet.
  14. I've seen open solenoids. I just don't think that's the problem due to no lights.
  15. Shouldn't be anything to do with the solenoid. Solenoid would affect the starter but should not have anything to do with the lights not working. But you bring up a good point about being in neutral. Where are the safety switches located? Clutch, brake, shifter? Make sure those are making up.
  16. I did and got this https://www.kickstarter.com/
  17. 2 cycle or 2 stroke oil is burnt in the combustion process and lubricates the engine while 4 cycle or 4 stroke oil is not burnt. https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-oils-used-for-2-cycle-vs-4-cycle-engines
  18. Are you getting power to the switch? Sounds like the wire carrying power to the switch is broken or not making good contact. Is there a fuse on the "hot" wire to the switch?
  19. I couldn't get the link to work.
  20. This entire ordeal is uncalled for. Hisun, along with any other manufacturers, should have parts on hand. Period. They should also do what is necessary to have a dealer and service network. With the smaller companies they should go above and beyond to keep the customer happy. Lower price won't always be reason enough to be loyal and be a repeat buyer but customer service could be. Stories like this make sure that I won't be looking at Hisun when it's time to buy another buggy. There are no dealers in my area that work on the buggy I have. At the point of sale they are lawn mower mechanics that are not trained to work on buggy's and four wheelers. As far as I know there are no independent shops around here that will work on the Chinese stuff with any sort of warranty. Makes it hard to shell out that kind of money after reading and hearing the horror stories.
  21. Same buggy just a picture the day I got it. The man I got it from used it in his pecan orchard. By the way, we used it yesterday where we hunt on my Granddaddy's farm and it did great. Hauled everything we needed and ran great in 98 degree weather. True enough that it rides stiff but hauled everything without a hitch. I'm sure if we were more inclined to race or pleasure ride I would look for something else but I'm thinking it will work out good for a hunting, hauling and work buggy. I also have a 1988 Dodge Dakota we use down there but the buggy works out a heap better. Just no a.c. on the buggy.
  22. Guess he figured it out.
  23. I don't have any experience with camo wraps but would like to see pictures and a review of ease of installation.
