  1. Teeth on the starter clutch were ground down due to not lining up right. It was very loose. I have the parts from the motorcycle Dr and will install this weekend.
  2. Run with cap off and see if it has air in lines. They are super long and hard to burp. I had a similar issue after putting a heater in. Took many tries to burp.
  3. Here is the pics of the oil cooler lines on my Cub Cadet 750 crew. Race quality 385 degree and 300 PSI hose and stainless steel cover. Double 3/8 double clamps. Hope it doesn’t leak like the old ones! Relocated to front of engine b

  4. I just ordered a starter clutch kit from motorcycle DR. I have the old one off and it was loose and teeth on the clutch were ground down. I also ordered a charging upgrade kit to go from 250 watts to 750! Woot woot. I will post some picks! I also replaced and relocated the oil cooling lines between the engine and clutch with race quality heat resistant lines with stainless braid over them. The old ones were leaking from cheap clamps and in a stop they could not be tightened from. I also put a silicone pan heater under the crank case to heat the oil during cold Northern MN days. There is that bubble foil insulation under the pad with high temp silicone holding it together. from.
  5. You probably have too much grease in the primary clutch housing that has the weights. I had the same issue with mine. Over a cup of grease in there! The roller weights in there need to move and won’t if cold due to a cup of 90 weight gear oil. Manual calls for slightly greased with 90 wt oil. I live where it is very cold in the winter. I used moly dry spray instead of grease.
  6. I just put in a EPI clutch upgrade. My starting system is messed up so I can’t review it for you yet. Putting it in was not too bad. Buy the tool for the secondary clutch though. No way to do it safe otherwise.
  7. I have an issue with my sector crew 750 2017 EFI Starter engages and spins but does not turn the engine over. Does this mean a bad starter clutch. The starter is new. I started the pull of the cover where the starter clutch is located but cannot get to the back bottom bolts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  9. I recently put high output LED lights in my Cub cadet 750 crew. It took some JB quick weld, drink tube, and screwing up some but is working! Opt 7 H4 bulbs are about three times brighter than the cheap China motorcycle bulbs! I will post some pictures soon! Does anyone else have battery issues? I am going to try fitting a Optima marine battery in mine. A real alternator would be a better fix. Anyone try solar to top batteries? When I plow snow the stock battery is fried quick!
