met Steve today from Makin Trax,he can over to my place and took all the measurements.He was impressed with the Trooper and drive train,maybe we will have another trooper owner soon.Real nice guy and seems to want to work on getting the right set up.One thing that did make me wonder about him though was he seems to think quig is a real nice guy..(LOL)

2scoops, Yes that was me that contacted him.I last heard from him on the 9th of this month and he said he would be contacting me as to when to bring it to him for the measurements.Did he mention when he would want to do it?I have not heard anything since.I will be more then happy to take it up to him when i hear back.I did not know he did a set for quig,I thought silverbullet put something together for him.

Bottom line,its not a 4x4 tahoe,its made for off road.Yes the ride can be improved.This is my first off road vehicle.I did at one time enjoy buying and restoring VW bugs and selling them for a profit and those i bought that were not worth doing all the body work on i would turn into baja bugs.I dont have the expertise or the money at this time to do a shock upgrade even though i would love to do so but that does not stop me from going out and having a great time.I can go as fast as i want and so far climbed and hill i wanted and the current ride has not come too much into play.I think is was Lenny who said it before,just go out and enjoy it.JMHO.

Hope you can make it to Hanksville for our jamboree the end of June.

Congratulations,wont take long for that new look to go away.Dont worry about stupid questions,you have a long way to go to top me.There were some covers out there for troopers but not sure if they were water proof,seems like they were light weight just to keep the dust off.You might try getting a small universal type car cover or boat cover.It wont be custom fit but would keep the weather out.As far as a childs seat in the back,I havnt heard of it but to me that would realy be risky.Thats why I opted for the T-4.

There was just a loud whooooooosh as all that went over my head(LOL).As said earlier i have only had it out once with the controller on it,didnt even try changing the settings.Next time out i hope to try as you suggested before about comparrison with and without it.For the type of driving i do and for the money it seems to do fine.Wish i had your knowledge and maybe try what your doing.

yep,same here.I had to put a hold on the spending for it.Got an uncle that i support and seems like this past year i wasnt sending him enough to get by on so i had to send him some extra.Funny thing is he never shows up for the Holiday get togethers.

I checked mine tonight and when i engage the 4x4 and lever is locked travel on diff plunger goes about 1/2" out.
