  1. so wouldnt that pressure be let out by way of the hose coming off valve cover to fresh air intake or by vacuum hose from valve cover to intake manifold? just trying to figure out how mine is do so without that canister.
  2. crawled around it and looked at all sides, didnt see anything off the pan, didnt look for one coming off block.Hope i dont sound to stupid here but doesnt the the head and block have ports that the oil travels through from the top to the crankcase?? when you put oil in the top(valve cover) doesnt oil travel done to the oil pan through these ports?
  3. all the views may not even be from members or even people who are going to the jamboree.dont get discouraged im sure there will be some.In all honesty a have to dig for some recent photos of the wife and I. I cant remember the last time we had a photo together except at maybe xmas.Sad.
  4. no hose off oil pan.
  5. I had mentioned in one of our earlier topics(i think i started it but not sure) about finding oil in my intake manifold.during the discussions i mentioned i had a hose from the valve cover to the fresh air intake unlike any of the others such as yours that had the canister.Mine came new that way and was wondering why mine was that way but no answers.its as though it should have a pcv valve in it but does not.also have a smaller hose from valve cover to intake manifold(vacuum).
  6. I will look again, just hope dates dont change and hopefully milage stays close to what we have been figuring.
  7. "the southern utah jamboree" look under topics.seven pages of disscussion on the next get together in june.

  9. I hope you use it as a down payment on the pool for that rolling 5 star Hotel of yours. We might need...and we will expect you to come by sprayiing cool water on us as we lay on the pool deck.
  10. I shipped them out to you two weeks ago,by the way wheres the check???(LOL)
  11. mine does.did not have to modify.
  12. Also check your idle RPM.When I got mine after it warmed up it went down to about 750,should be according to manual 950.
  13. there are also some with a chain type belt. Some cars have them in them now.
  14. are you sure its the same? alot of difference in price. If it will work thats not bad for 20% more HP.I am also really interested in the trans if the price is right.
  15. I have 30" on my T4 and they do not rub.If yo go bigger then you will have to do some mods. You dont have to have power steering but sure would be nice.
  16. In an email to me he also says pricing wont be available till May.Could be very interesting.
  17. did you do any adjusting on the fuel controller or leave it at factory settings? Much more fuel consumption?
  18. too many factors to figure that out.I think it would depend on how its maintained, and type of driving. Its an automotive engine and trans so it would figure to last and be reliable.
  19. (jmho) if you find a well cared for 08 that might have had the owner do some of the upgrades would be fine or a good price on a well cared for 08 and if you can do the upgrades.
  20. You can do a search in this forum but if i recall you can look into the hole for the oil fill .Below is a link to another thread on this forum that explains it. My link
  21. I am sure many will give you better advice on what to look for other then I but just a few from me.One of the first things is to change the air filter box and filter if it has not been done already and also move it from inside the engine compartment.I also have an 09 and have found that some have the upgrades and some do not.One thing was changing from the electric switch to manual lever on the 4 wheel drive.Again the diff upgrade is the same, not all 09 models have it(thats what i was told by a former Joyner tech) so you will have to check that out yourself or take the word of the seller if they know.Good luck with your purchase.I have not regreted the purchase of mine and love the way it climbs. You also have some great knowledgable members on this forum in Utah to hook up with.
  22. yep same here.little black smoke too.make sure you carry some extra fuel if you go on a long ride cause it uses alot more.
  23. I emailed them yesterday with what is a popular request and that is an auto trans for the trooper. He emailed me back wanting photos..
  24. Welcome back..
  25. We went out to North Glamis this past weekend to go see some old mines we had heard about. The controller did seem to give more power in all gears and as quig said did not seem to have to shift as much.It does use more gas as expected.I hope to get it out this coming weekend to do the comparisons as you suggested Lenny.
