  1. Its been quiet,I think hes working under cover.(LOL)
  2. Curious to know which Joyner model has the turn signal switch on the steering column? Saw someone has them for sale on ebay so I ordered one.I figured for 30 bucks including shipping I could make it work on my Trooper. My link
  3. Hope we can get together Rocmoc,I am also working on getting coverage so I can get away at least for the weekend. What time do you think you would be there that Friday? Depending when you plan on getting there I might try for Friday or that Monday off as well.Would be nice if others could make it as well.
  4. Let me know when you come out with a 4 seater..
  5. Rick, You post these parts you have but seldom give prices. We do appreciate coming up with these parts but please post prices. Thanks,
  6. Other then easier to get to everything is there any other advantage?
  7. Son and Grandson down from Alaska for the Holiday and while sitting around watching a little football decided to take the Trooper out to El Mirage for the day tomorrow. We have never been there but its only a couple hour drive so wont be to bad a drive just for the day.Sure it will be crowded though.
  8. Same here,Have a Happy and safe Thanksgiving.
  9. Remember this photo? The guy was willing to sell the Trooper with or without the custom cage and bench seat. My link
  10. Real good looking Quig.
  11. Bilstein,Skyjacker,Superlift,Pro Comp,Rancho,Competition Engineering,Tokico,KYB,
  12. Went to local Pep Boys today for a few things and as I went through the front door right in front of me is a whole new area for nothing but high performance, off road and custom accessories.Loads of shocks, mufflers, tires, lift kits, clutches, and lots more.It really was impressive.I spoke to the sales rep in charge of that section and he said they installed it in the last month and its only the second in California at this time. They plan on six more within the next year.Dont know what other states they have them in.It reminded me of some years ago all the performane shops around you couldd go to.Dont have them around my area anymore.
  13. does your enclosure have the canvas sides and come from joyner? I purchased a kit for my T-4 from a guy that bought some at the joyner auction and it had the windsheild, hard top, rear widow and canvas sides but came with no directions on how to hang the top of the sides. Not sure if I will use them anyway but would be nice to know.
  14. Nice to see something here.I was beginning to think everyone else was out riding and I was stuck here by myself.(LOL)
  15. right now(in the garage) I have the front at about 12 and rear at 15.I dont plan on any sand at this point but if that happens will adjust.I am really looking forard to see what difference they make. Thanks guys,If I get stuck I will give you a call(LOL).
  16. Now that i have the 30" x 15's on mine just wondering what was the final pressure you found to work,I will be taking mine out this weekend for the first time with thes tires and wheels and would like to know a good starting point for the pressure. Thanks,
  17. Yea you should not have any problems with the toyhauler. The road went back further and I am sure their were more camping back there. This was taken around 8:30 in the morning and I had been driving since 4am on only a few hours sleep so I was in a hurry to get to our place in Havasu to get some work done that morning. Its looking good for that weekend you will be there, still trying to make arraingements for an xtra day or two off.
  18. Rocmoc, I took this short video this past Saturday of the entrance(starting about 100 yds off the 95) heading into Craggy Wash.Only went in about a mile or so.
  19. Goin out to North Glamis this coming weekend if anybody can make it.Going to be staying at the North Glamis KOA Campground.
  20. I forgot about that.I saw an old truck mechanic do a tempoary fix on a fork lift where I worked when I was about 19.He pulled a large semi truck up next to it and hooked up to the batteries on it.That was the only time I seen it done and I completely forgot about it.
  21. Mike, Maybe you are correct but from those of us who dont have the insite you seem to have we have to be suppishih of anyone posting messages under fictious names claiming to know it all.How you know who the "Gman" is I dont know but that does not make it credible with all do respect.I do hope things work out well but we heard this before when the "New Sherriff" came riding in to rescue the joyner product earlier this year.We all heard what a big difference there would be and what a great new product would be coming our way by this time, look we we are...Again no disrespect to you but Be carefull how you stick your neck out. Cheers to you, Rick
  22. I'm with you Quig. Not only do we have a Gman telling us this info but we now have the new sherriff. Is he the "New Sherriff in town"?
  23. Worse comes to worse I can be there for the weekend.so far no other takers?Be nice to get more.Lots of trails. One ride I have been wanting to go on is from Havasu to Topoc, they have a marina with a nice place to eat but now they closed it and building a 100+ room resort so cant go there till they re-open.
  24. Thought that place was closed.use to see boondockers from the 95 as we drove by but now I see why.Guess they moved the camping back between the hills.I have never been in there but next trip I will check it out.As far as the place south of there that looks good also. All I have to do is get the time off and hope the wife can do the same. Our daughter is expecting her first any now(in fact shes late)so the wife will be taking time off for that, just hope she can get more.
