that picture i put the link to shows it pretty good,you can see the black hose going from the valve cover to the chrome intake tube.The small hose goes from the valve cover to the intake manifold.

Lenny, Hearing things like that really make me wonder.Most of you have the T-2's and to have that problem and mine being a T-4 I have to think what extra supports if any they put into mine being that its longer.

do you think the bang was the diff going into lock?maybe the belt just partially pulled the cable and when you made the transition it jerked into lock position.Other then the bang is there any other reason you think there is damage? Good luck.

same here in regards to snorkle.I also wonder about all the bends in the exhaust pipe and if that affects the performance also.

in my manual for the 09 info for the TPS is on pages 110,122.

on throttle body.

I run plain old premium also,92 octain.I have run 89 once but same problem.

I kinda felt the same way as far as the leg room goes.I removed my seats and drilled new holes and moved em back about 2 inches.

around here if you blow on it and it goes above .08 it means your above the legal limit(LOL)

Could it be the Throttle position sensor? thats what i was thinking it is.

Just checked with auto zone for the bosch 02 sensor.They have it for $59.99.plug looks almost the same,wont know till i go to install it. Thanks,

I have seen the thread but It has done it with tank full,half full you name it.And when it has done it it has been on level ground and incline,doesnt seem to matter.

So far only found two of us with the problem and mine is a T-4 and I think gates98 is also.My pump is above the tank but if that was the cause seems like this would be an issue with all T-4's.I did move the filter past the pump from before the pump as was suggested but still have the problem.My next attempt to resolve this issue will be to replace the battery terminal clamps,install a better ground,and replace the two 02 Sensors.Wont be able to do that until next weekend,got it in garage in Havasu and thats my next planed trip.

sounds like you and i have the same issue.funny there has been a couple times where i went for a 3 or 4 hour ride and it would not do it.

I have not checked with him,not sure who he is.Casey said and 02 Sensor for a 4 cylinder engine would work.Does that sound right?

Not water related.Had it snce only 7 miles on it and problem started second trip out and it had not been subject to water.Like you when i have cleaned it i have been very careful with the water and i too drive it in dry climate,Havasu mainly.I am looking for the 02 sensor replacement as that was recommended by Casey at joyner.
