  1. worth a shot, cheap and easy to do.got nothing but a little time to lose.
  2. done that too lenny, when it does it i sometimes have to shut the battery switch off before it runs normal and then again there has been times that has not worked.
  3. sometimes it will act up again in a few minutes.but most of the time it will run good for a long time.recently i have been out for a few hours more afterwards and it wont act up at all.
  4. kinda acts like it starving, but if i stop and rev it up it will be fine for awhile.
  5. no noticeable smoke on mine when it happens.
  6. will 100 octane unleaded do any damage? any ideas on replacement 02 sensors? gotta look for some, I was told to replace if they were the japanese made ones and mine are.
  7. yes he is.I will try and contact him.if he still has parts or trannys it will save you almost half what you say the other place wants.
  8. Interesting.I thought a few times about the 100 octane in my trooper but was not sure what would happen.I dont have a turbo its just readily available in Lake Havasu because of all the high performance boats on the lake.
  9. I had the same problem.I removed the tank to clean it out so at that time I used larger diameter self drilling screws and a oil/fuel resistant sealant on both sides of the rubber gasket.Cleaned out tank real good and no problem since.
  10. try calling Casey.I know he had a bunch of trans parts for sale a few weeks ago.I bought a whole new trans from him along with other things when i went down there a few weeks ago just as a spare.
  11. Gates, I am still having the problem. If you stop and rev it up a little does it go away at least for a while? Also if i turn off the battery disconnect it fixes it for a while.I have checked many things as well as changing plugs.I was recently told by an ex joyner employee to check the 02 sensors to see if they are the japanese type,if so should change them.just checked them this moring and appears they are so next thing will be changing them.
  12. Frankie. Great to hear it.Now you have a new proplem, putting all those lost miles on her(LOL).Have fun and maybe we will see you around there sometime.
  13. yep, mines the same.all that way from what i understand.where do you ride?
  14. It comes on at starting,if you turn the key to on position(just before the starter engages) it comes on for a few seconds then shuts off .Hope that makes sense.Didnt ask before but what joyner do you have?
  15. Big Red. Welcome,I dont have an answer for you but someone who does will chime in soon.We hve many people on here with the knowledge that will be of help.
  16. Lenny, I think I already got the only oil pump he had.I too ordered the soft top for my T-4,looks real good for the price.I wont know how it fits until this weekend.I ordered these two items plus a few others last Thursday and they arrived yesterday, very pleased.
  17. Jeff called me this morning just to let everyone know pretty much the same thing. They are attempting to get the parts left at the old joyner place from the bank that now owns them.He also wanted to make sure to let everyone know to email or call him or Casey with any parts requests.Email addresses and phone numbers are on the new webpage. www.jmcmotors.us
  18. Not sure,I am sending a message now to find that out along with some other questions.
  19. Well they have they beginning of the new web site up. JMC MOTORS - 2010 - COMING SOON
  20. Frankie, Congrats, must feel like a weights been taken off your shoulders. We will all keep our fingers crossed.Keep us posted and dont run off from us and not stay in touch.
  21. Funny thing,I contacted the guy just to find out where he got the bench seat.I had ordered one from joyner to replace the two rear buckets in my T4 but they never sent it.He told me the rear cage with the bench seat was custom made and fastens to the rear same as stock rear cage,on a hinge. He said he is willing to part with the cage and bench seat for 2,400.Cost him over 3k for the seat and custom cage. From what i understand it was for his kids, mentioned the bench seat had the high backs so his kids head would not whip back over the top of the seats as they would in a Rhino or Razr.
  22. I just tilt them forward towards the windsheild and use a bungy cord to hold it while it drys then wipe em down.
  23. i looked at the manual for my 09 and it shows a blue fuse(best i can tell looks like it says 10 amp on it)for the spot lights.
  24. Lenny, I was out of wind just reading it..This would be good to put in a trouble shooting topic. That was great.Thank you.
  25. sorry i did miss that.
