  1. Yeah, I would have to try that myself. I've always been a sceptic of noticable performance from a switch in spark plugs, unless it's a faulty plug(s). I have a real issue with the E3 spark plugs. The spark is going to take the path of least resistance, so there will only be one spark. Now maybe where different types of metals are used in the electrodes that can conduct electricity better, but can that actually be felt in the performance? Now a good coil or a system that enhances the spark, maybe.
  2. Is this a fuel injected engine? If it's carbureted, sounds like a choke issue to me. If it's fuel injected, maybe a fuel pump problem.
  3. Wasn't the idea behind the platinum tips, as well as the iridium tips, for longevity? I have never been a believer in the factory claims that those plugs don't need replacing for 100,000 miles. Guess I'm old school.
  4. Mine has the Hisun engine. So far so good. No overheating issues. I do need a little more powerful battery. It starts right up, but it doesn't crank over very fast.
  5. Good to hear you found a repair shop. 👍
  6. Hmmm, I wasn't aware that iridium was a better conductor than copper. I may have to give that a try.
  7. Hey Joe! I was waiting for you to chime in. I'm not sure where the UTV is manufactured. The website sure doesn't look like it's from China, so maybe he could luck out and get some warranty work done, if needed. I know it's a Hisun engine, but not sure about the rest.
  8. Thank you, sir! So, the upgrade is switching to an iridium plug? Is it a different heat range? I know mine was running rough and difficult to start, so I pulled the spark plug. It was fouled, so rather than clean and replace it, I changed it out for a new plug. I gapped it according to the manual, and it runs much better, and starts quicker. It's the same plug, just a new one. I thought that iridium and platinum plugs were for extended use? Personally, I don't like them. I use NGK V-groove plugs in my vehicles. The UTV gets a standard copper core plug. My reasoning for that choice is a combination of price and performance. Have you ever tried to remove a spark plug that's been in a head for 100,000 miles? It's lots of fun, let me tell ya. I have also seen the platinum tips disappear, causing a poor performance issue. True, I may spend more on plugs over the life of the vehicle, but I don't get plugs that are nearly impossible to remove, either. Platinum isn't as good a conductor as copper, either. I would think that would be harder on the coil, since the resistance is greater. I don't know about the conductivity of iridium, but I do know it costs considerably more than the copper plugs do.
  9. Was there a post somewhere on this forum about an upgrade in the spark plug for better performance? I've tried several searches, but haven't come up with anything yet. Thanks!
  10. Hopefully you're right. But, if you (God forbid) do need a warranty repair, it would be good to know where you can take it.
  11. https://www.axis-offroad.com/service-locator Your unit's manufacturer. Go to the link. It will give you a service locations. It will also show how to register the unit for the warranty.
  12. Not the first time I've heard that about these stores. Not sure why they would sell any kind of power equipment without being able to answer questions from the purchaser. I take it they didn't speak with you about the warranty?
  13. I would contact Lowe's and ask if they have a list of shops that will work on it. Or, contact the manufacturer and ask them.
  14. Maybe a cover or a tarp? I wasn't aware that the camo would fade.
  15. Is the spark plug getting wet? Maybe it's flooding out. There's some manuals on this site that may be helpful for you.
  16. Did you check all the obvious things, like spark and fuel?
  17. Seems everything is going up in price. Why shouldn't the UTV market stay the same? Damn demonrats😡
  18. Yeah, I got mine in an auction from Massimo. How do you like yours?
  19. My first guess would be the piston rings are bad and your getting blow by. Don't know if there's a PCV system on your Volunteer, but if so I would check that to see if it's clogged.
  20. Wasn't the head gasket issue confined to the Hisun engines?
  21. Can anyone else here help? I know I had the info on the bleeder screws, but I can't locate it. I searched through the service manual, but I didn't find anything there.
  22. Well, I can't seem to locate that info. I had it, but now I can't find it. There's a section here that has downloadable service manuals for the T-Boss 410. You can try there, but I don't know if there were any design changes from the 2019 to the 2020. Is it a Linhai engine?
  23. I would guess that there is air in the coolant. There are bleeder screws for this, and you have to raise the front end somewhat. I have a 2019 T-boss 410. Haven't had any trouble with it so far. You may also check the thermostat to see if it's working properly.
  24. This crap blows!!!🤢 Thanks for checking up on me!
  25. Well, vengeful right now. I would like to get my hands on Fauci, tie him in a chair, and give him a vaccine from every pharmaceutical company out there. Both shots along with the boosters. I would just sit back and watch the whole thing go down. I am getting over this crap, but it's definitely a long process. Both myself and my fiancee were stricken about the same time. She's getting over it a little quicker than I am. I appreciate your concern. Thanks
