  1. Shoulda bought a Massimo 😉 (JK)
  2. I'm still thinking it's the battery cables. Until I can find out what the stock guage is, I can't go forward with replacements. I don't have any kind of tools that I could use to measure it.
  3. Does this particular engine (Linhai 352cc engine) actually have a decompression release? I have a copy of the service manual, and I can't locate anything in the manual about a decompression release. Can you possibly show me where it is located? I'm trying to do as you advised, but I'm jot having any luck locating it. The issue of hitting the starter a few times isn't a common occurence. This happens about 50% of the time that I start it when cold, especially after it's sat for a few days. Thanks much!
  4. Are you referring to the 2017 Kymko 450i post?
  5. Mine came with a 300cca, which just wasn't doing the job. So I bought a 350cca, which seemed to do the job, but it doesn't seem like it's still turning over fast enough. I remember a post from a member who was aware of the problem and was working on a fix. I could fix it myself, but I don't know what wire guage to go with.
  6. That's good to hear, Joe. I hope you didn't just jinx yourself 😎. I haven't had to contact Massimo, so I don't know if they really did improve their customer relations. There was a post here a while back that a guy had discovered that the battery cables were undersized, and he was working with the manufacturer to correct it. I never heard from him again. I can make my own cables, but I don't know what size to use. I'm assuming you don't have any issues with starting your UTV, but with mine it occasionally doesn't want to turn over. If I turn it off, then hit the starter again, it will start. I thought that maybe it was because of the undersized cables. Anyway, even though I have ribbed you about your Massimo, I'm glad that you're enjoying it.
  7. There's a trouble code in that list for the fuel system. It's SU200. Maybe it's the same? I did a search, that's all I could come up with.
  8. I don't know if you already have this. If so, just disregard. Labor-Guide-1(1).pdf
  9. That's OK. Just think about the ribbing I got through school. Jolly Green Giant was a regular, as was "how's the weather up there?". I outgrew both of my parents, as well as everyone else in my family, on both sides.
  10. I'm 6'7", with a 38" inseam. I fit in my Massimo T-boss 410 easily.
  11. Let us know how it goes.
  12. Could a valve not be seating? That would account for the low compression. Too much air would cause the sensor to add more fuel, hence the rich condition.
  13. How would that affect your compression?
  14. Should be able to find the parts you need on Massimo's website. Also, do a search on the internet.
  15. Bad rings, warped head, blown head gasket. Does it smoke much when running? Sounds like oil getting past the rings, maybe. If it does smoke, what color is the smoke?
  16. Don't get the wrong impression, Joe. I didn't mean to say that you were hard on yours, just that while some were stuck or broke down, yours kept on going. I know about the warranty stuff, but you gotta admit, it does go better than some other big name brands at times.
  17. That's what you started out with? I'm impressed! I believe you can find a manual for it here on this site. There's a forum specifically for manuals. That will be very helpful.
  18. I thought you beat on yours pretty hard at times, and it runs when others don't.
  19. My T-boss 410 is a wet clutch type. Don't know for sure, so maybe check the internet, or call Massimo to verify. Mine's a 2019, so I would guess it's also a wet clutch type.
  20. Do you know what the factory hp rating is? Sounds like you already covered a lot of bases, as well as sunk some $$$ into it. Have you done a compression check?
  21. Is it an overhead valve motor? Sounds like one or more of the valves is stuck open. Or, there's something in one or both of the cylinders. You could remove the heads, or maybe one of those snake cameras would give you some idea.
  22. I would assume that there was a reason for the factory to install a 4 hole injector. Maybe ask a tech at the factory, if available?
  23. Glad it worked out for you. Was it difficult to get mounted?
  24. Good news! Can you tell me why you chose that fan?
  25. No reason it wouldn't. If you can get it mounted and wired up, it should work fine.
