in a related story, my damn Massimo is still running flawlessly.. I am simply astounded .. I ran it all weekend . probably put 100 plus miles on it in the mud trails and the woods at my place at Whiskey Bay .. It really does well in 4wd in heavy mud .. never ran hot at all.... could it be that once you blend a few quality YAMAHA parts with HISUN , you get a pretty decent machine??? who knows , but for now I am pretty happy with it .. Still HATE the Massimo Corporation tho.. that wont change..

lol damn computer wouldnt paste the picture... it was the " solenoid " on my little Honda Recon ...... I just had to clean it recently when it started the CLICK CLICK disease ... But I get cliffs point, you hear solenoid, you think GM starter motor

A solenoid can be seperate and apart from the actual starter... example, older model FORDs and even my Hondas have solenoids under the seat

be sure if you have a wet clutch that you use an oil FOR wet clutch use..some full synthetics will turn your wet clutch quickly into "neutral" .. I use 10W40 Castrol ACTEVO... specifically designed for Motorcycle/ATV wet clutch systems

I bought a push button START button from Amazon for one of my boats, cost $10 .. the original old Evinrude control box keyswitch was falling apart, barely worked 1 out of 5 tries and no longer even available...... works fine

My mechanic did the work.. but The HISUN 500 is a clone of the earlier Yamaha Rhino engine.. almost identical in every way.. he said Yamaha gasket was better quality ...its working great now. Engine rebuilders say you can swap a Rhino engine into Massimo and it will all bolt up

why risk it for $0.30 /gal? run midgrade ..
