  1. From top of carb to open air, maybe a little bug had a nest in there. Thanks for the help guys, the encouragement kept me picking at it.
  2. Could a plugged vent tube cause this kind of a problem? I tryed to blow through it and it was plugged, I ran a wire up it hit a blockage pushed through it blew it out sprayed carb cleaner through it. Seems to be working. I feel like an idiotπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  3. I checked everything in the carb, needle tip looks good, a little residue in the bowl, blew that out with carb cleaner. I think the temp get above 185⁰ F and the fuel pushes out the main jets. Someone has been in it before, bout had the screw heads stripped out on the bowl.
  4. Those plugs came out about a month ago, been laying on the bench. I didn't think they looked to bad. I used to run an LT250 r so I do know a little about plugs. I've worked on a lot of motors but this one got me stumped. Till ya get it apart it's ready to go, nothing wrong.
  5. Got the carb off, cleaning the dirt off now. I let it idle for 10 min or so then shut it off and watched with airbox off, 15 min gas started appearing on the bottom of the throats trickling down the front. Probably time for a rebuild.
  6. @Dennis Knepp
  7. Got spark! Took the air box off, full of gas, almost up to the drain hole. Gas in both intakes when I open the butterflys ( with a flashlight ) I can see gas lying in there bubbling. That with the key off, It's flooded. Is the gas pushing past the needle valve when heat builds up? It's got one of the split carbs, like two carbs in one body.
  8. Pulling the screen was going to be my next move. I have a BIG problem with replacing parts and covers and shields. Takes Β½ hour to get to the carb by then it'll startπŸ˜‚, I live on a gravel road, dont wanna run without air cleaner. If I lift the box every time I shut it off it's not so long for restart, but its gotta be empty or everything goes to the back. So I'm thinkin the screen's comin off today. When I ask my wife to help she tells to take it to someone who knows what they're doing πŸ˜‚
  9. It's got a carb, my biggest problem is working on it alone, cant be in the back and front at the same time.
  10. OK, replaced pickup "coil pulsing" no change. I've replaced both ignition coils with cheap Chinese jobs, no change. ( that rear coil is a challenge, but doable.) I can't think of anything else that might be affected by heat buildup after shutdown. Any more ideas?

  12. OK! New pickup coil installed. No help! What I have found in all this is it does NOT fire till I let off the starter. Depending on the throttle position when I let off the starter it will fire up, about ΒΌ down, at Β½ it floods, at no pedal it just spins free like no compression. Is that a relay issue or a starter problem? Had a Kohler with that issue once, I run a hot wire to the coil with a switch on the dash, problem solved. Killed the battery if I forgot to turn it off. This isn't a lawn mower and I'd rather not Jerry rig it. HELP!!! Would be appreciated.
  13. Ok thanks for the explanation on that, just thought it would be higher.
  14. I would think redline would be higher than that
  15. 3600 rpm redline? What's up with that?
  16. I have one on order from Babbit's thank you again, I was getting discouraged here. Happy Independance Day to you
  17. Thank You Good Man
  18. Thank you Travis it's part # 59026 top right. Why cant I find that part? The manual calls it a pickup coil. I think it's my culprit when it sits it gets hot and dont work right. Any suggestions on where to find one?
  19. Does anyone have a part # for the pickup coil on this 01 KAF 620E 3010? I think I've replaced everything else that might cause it to not start when the engine is warm. The manual calls it a pickup coil but I'm unable to find it by name anywhere. Any help would be Appreciated.
  20. Not that!! Ok either fuel pump relay which I dont think would be affected by heat or the igniter that is on the flywheel. That would require removing front driveshaft and shifting mech to get the flywheel cover off. I'll see if my local dealer can order one. Toodeloo
  21. Try this
  22. How about a heat sensor that shuts down the fuel pump relay?
  23. It gets hot you dont wanna stick your hand in there. I have spark the coils are under the cylinders its cooler there, would be odd for both of them to fail at the same time. It dont quit it just won't restart after setting for 10 min after turning it off. I thought there might be people out here with the same issue that might have tips or trick other than lifting the box every time you stop. If you get back in within 3-4 min it starts right up.
  24. I recently acquired a 300 4x4 linhai 02 I believe, the previous owner had carb problems, he put a mikuni from a snow machine on and it works good.πŸ‘
  25. New guy here, my question is, is vapor lock common on this machine? When I run it for a while and shut it off it will not restart if it sets for 5-10 min. I have to lift the dump box and let it cool for approx 20 min before it will start. I replaced the fuel pump thinking it might be the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
