  1. The one I used and linked above is a generic chart. Unfortunately there is very little information on Hisun... and I guess Coleman machines... Maybe becuase Hisun is a knockoff of the Yamaha Rhino, at least the older Hisuns. For ours I try to get aftermarket Yamaha Rhino parts when I can as usually they are cheaper and more accessible. But I don't think it works that way for the new machines as they aren't really copies anymore... unless they are and I don't know. Luke

  3. Hey, We have a 2008 Hisun 700 and it had a similar problem. Would die at the worst times, idled rough, and wouldn't restart. Turned out to be the rectifier/charging unit. Got the part on amazon I believe. Hard to say whats exactly wrong, we have a Hisun 700 and the rear differential/gear box destroyed the pinion bearings to that the pinion would be too sloppy to engage the ring gear and had similar effects. It would clunk and not move and then jerk forward randomly until finally it just about gave up moving at all, except a bit in reverse. Swapped out the differential for an aftermarket yamaha one solved the problem.
  5. Keep us posted, wondering how the yamaha will fit. So far I've had good success with aftermarket yamaha parts but haven't tried internal parts so curious to see. The Hisun parts can be difficult to get sometimes, and not necessarily cheap. I haven't looked at comparing oem yamaha prices with oem hisun but i know that some aftermarket yamaha parts are cheaper.

I don't how these machines changed overtime, but I remember that in our 2008 hisun 700; rattling was caused by a shot pinion bearings in the rear transfer case, and exhaust manifold brackets that came loose and where hanging on the pipe. With the shot pinion bearings bearings, it caused lots of play in the pinion which allowed the brake rotor to chatter against the pads creating a rattling sound. But these generally caused a rattling towards the rear. Just some possibilities to check out.
  7. We have a hisun 700 and had same problem, the part was missing. As others mentioned its most likely some sort of air/oil separator or oil catch. I just connected the two hoses together as the upper one in my case opens into the airbox. I didn't encounter any problems with oil plashing into the airbox after I connected them, but check a few times just in case if you do decide to connect them. I think that may have been the reason why there was oil splashed all over the top of the crank case but I can't remember. Looks like you have oil splashed all over too. Lucas
  8. Have you checked out the vent that from the top of the crank case to the air box? Except that is on the left hand side I believe unless they changed it (we have a 2008 hisun 700 utv) but I heard that there used is an air/oil separator there and in our case it was missing/destroyed and that led to oil splashing everywhere. I just connected the two ends of the air tubes without that separator and it works fine. Also on our hisun under that fan cover there is a little timing window that unscrews so maybe that is missing in your case. Just ideas as I heard somewhere that hisun makes the engines for massimo. But it may be a different setup as your pics do not look too familiar to me 🙃

No it constantly burns oil so it maybe overfilled momentarily. it just is that i did't see a direct hole inside the airbox to the drain tube and I wondered whether there was something weird with an extra compartment in the floor of the air box. But now that I think about it, it doesn't make sense. Sometimes a person needs to think out loud. I'll keeping an eye on it. Thanks P.S. if the oil level is maintained correctly is the oil/air separator necessary?
  10. I have oil dripping off the the tube that drains the air box. I have checked the inside of the air box on a few occasions and there is never any fresh oil. So I don't know if the oil is there from any previous leaks/spills or if there is sometime i am missing. Also it is missing the oil/air separator but I checked the end of the crankcase breather tube and it is dry, even when running. Any help appreciated Lucas
  11. We just got a used Hisun utv which burns oil like crazy and needs a diff seal. I'm having a hard time finding parts so far so I was wondering whether two models were the same. Our model is Supermach 700U 2008. Many times the Hisun HS700 shows up when looking for parts. So are the parts between these two models the same? Are the essentially same with different stickers on it? Thanks Lucas
