  1. Was on a yamaha forum the other day. They were talking about adding a shim inside the primary sheave. Supposedly it gave more gettyup on takeoff. But lowered the top end speed. Also they were talking about changing the spring on the secondary sheave. Maybe something you can research and maybe it can help. Best of luck.
  2. Tsheh4, Would like to know what happened with getting more out of the hisun beast. I just got an Axis 500 to replace my CFMoto Uforce. They also make something called "sliders" that takes the place of the "rollers" or weights (part 5 in cliffyk's primary sheave diagram). Or at least they do for the cfmoto. The cfmoto primary sheave looks very similar. One word of warning to EVERYONE with a CVT belt. INSPECT THE BELT. My new belt on the moto lasted a 14 months. Then had a catastrophic failure at 35ish MPH and wrapped around the primary and secondary sheaves. Locking the transmission/rear tires. Sending the wife and I skidding down the highway. Ended up laying it over on drivers side. Luckily no serious injuries. Cliffyk, How hard is it to put weights in the clutch. I've seen the Cir-clip that keep the clutch paws in place. But the springs look awful stiff.
  3. I reread the posts and got me wondering. I had a TroyBilt generator with B&S engine. I changed oil one summer. Started gen and all was good. Well winter rolled around. Power went out. Went to start gen and it wouldn't hit a lick. Done everything I could and was still sitting in dark. Next day still no power. Gen still wouldn't start UNTIL I pulled the LOW OIL SHUTOFF WIRE. Wonder if his machine or any in general has a low/no oil shutoff? That would explain the running and shutoff if parked unlevel and it tripped the no oil switch. If it has one.
  4. Don't have a Massimo. I have a 2013 CFMOTO UForce 600. But I did order a Gates belt off Amazon. I went to the Gates website and crossed my part number over to the Gates belt. All good. FWIW, I thought the belt was my issue but turned out to be the wet clutch in my case. While I had rear of machine up in the air everything worked fine. BUT when I put the rear tires on ground with CVT cover off. Had wife put in gear and give a little gas. The nothing wanted to move. This told me the wet clutch was bad. Ordered that off Amazon also. Just don't put the one-way bearing in backward if you have one. All hope for the best. But the Gates belt are good. At least for me.
  5. If i could not find the part number or part on a diagram. I'd get a caliper, get a thickness of remaining washer, diameter of shaft that goes thru it, max outside diameter. And look for a generic round seal from avxseals.com and look for a seal with those measurements. I have nothing to do with website. But i have ordered from them. Better seals than my oem cfmoto seals. And fast arrival time. Or some thick rubber gasket material and make one. Or maybe look for a different model or year parts diagram to see if something could match up. Best of luck.
  6. Are you changing the drum also? Oil filter? Have you checked the oil passages to make sure they are clear? Maybe a more regular/frequent oil change? Different oil brand? Different filter brand? Don't use the clutch as a brake. What I mean is, don't use the gas pedal to keep you from rolling backwards while facing uphill. Make sure the vehicle is able to be pushed by hand I on a level surface. Maybe brakes are sticking. Or bearing issues. Steep inclines in high gear? Maybe change the settings on the pre-load spring on the cvt primary drive clutch. You may lose a little topend and holeshot. But could last longer. OEM tire size? Just a few thoughts.
  7. Need to replace the 9 year old tires on my CFMoto Uforce 600. Was looking at the sunf a033 tires, but they dont have the specs of the existing tires. The things that really buggin me is the tire pressure. My calls for 10 in fromt and 12 in rear. But the max on these is 7. The load is close sunf is 70 front and back and mine are 77 front and 85 rear. Uforce is 1221lb and load of 70 is 7??lbs.. 7?? *4 would be at least 28??. The sunf is 6ply existing is 4ply. Guess what i asking is what do you guys think and what are you guys running for tires or replacement tires?
  8. Just wanted to update. avxseals had the part. Shipping time wasn't too bad as I remember. The seals from avxseals were better quality than the OEM. You may have to dig a little to find the size of the seal you need from your OEM parts diagram. Then go to avxseals and search by size to get a better seal but it is worth it. Since ordering this part I've had to make other orders from them. Didn't even attempt to get OEM.
  9. My cfmoto Uforce 600 had the wet clutch go out. Before the clutch went out the engine brake worked just fine. I got a replacement wet clutch, clutch drum, engine brake, etc from Amazon and not official cfmoto parts. After putting everything back together with the new engine brake. Mine acted just as you have described. Most of the time it would engage. There were times it would not. But hitting the gas would raise RPMs and then the engine brake would engage. In the 6 months mine has been doing this. It hasn't hurt anything. Maybe caused a little more brake pad wear when engine brake wasn't engaged but that is about it. But I don't ride in extreme situations very often with the wife.
  10. Mackc Same problem with my 600 single cylinder. Noise from engine bay. As said I have some heat shield / noise shield. Once I install it I will let you know if it makes a difference. I'm on vacation next week and that is something I plan on doing.
  11. My 2013 Uforce has a red push button kill switch on dash left of steering wheel. Look and see. May be something you missed. May not be there. Could use multi meter and check for voltage at fuel pump plug. Possibly trace back wires. But fuel pump not working and no spark sounds like a roll over protection switch or relay that needs to be reset.
  12. Same as Macky. Reduce engine noise and heat in cab. 2013 CFMoto Uforce. Windshield and roof. No doors or back cab enclosure.
  13. Well I'd also like to know what you guys in the engine compartment for sound deadening. The 2013 cfmoto Uforce is murder on the ears. I got some double sided foil heat shield with about 1/4 inch foam like middle off amazon. Haven't took time to install any of it yet. Have to install a snorkel for intake first. Since the intake is in the center console area. Once snorkel is installed to allow fresh air for the intake. Then install the heat shield and block that vent in center console. That will block a lot of the heat and hopefully some of the sound.
  14. Hey mixfixdave, I don't want to hijack this thread, but I have a 2013 cfmoto uforce. It doesn't have an alternator it uses stator for charging the battery. Could I do this mod on the uforce,
  15. Thanks Travis for the info. I'll give them a call tomorrow and see when they can get it here. I wanted to get this thing put together today, but that didn't happen. This machine has been up in the air on jack stands more than it has been on the ground since I bought it in February. The right rear axle was replaced by previous owner but it was the wrong axle. So I replaced it. Replaced front brakes. Replaced parking brake. Have the rear brake to replace. The left axle front. Rear left outer boot. Then the wet clutch went out. Thought it was just the CVT belt. Replaced it and plug and oil change, but it was the wet clutch. Got the wet clutch, the clutch hub, gaskets, and the needed oil seals. Went to put the wet clutch back in. That is when I discovered the new seal was junk. CFMoto brand. From same online dealer I got the axles from. So I'm hoping they do me right and send a replacement at no charge. And they have them in-stock. Everything I've ordered from them so far has been over 3 weeks to get here. Buyer's remorse doesn't come close to how I feel about this machine. Can't sell it the way it is. So have to fix it. By the time I get it fixed I'll never get my money back out of it. May fix and sell just to get rid of the headache. Just venting here. Thanks again Travis Hope everyone had a good weekend. Greg
  16. Hello all. I am the not so proud owner of a POS 2013 CF Moto UForce 600 CF600-5 I just $25.00 on a 54mm x 70mm x 8mm oil seal. Part number 0180-013105. Waited 2 weeks for on-line parts store to get it in. Then waited a week for mail to deliver it. Now I have all my parts to put wet clutch back together and my $25 oil seal fell apart. Part number 0180-013105. Call the place I got it from but since it Memorial weekend. Of course there's no one there. Probably a good thing no one answered. Left message but probably Wednesday before they call me back Tried to call local auto parts store. They can't find anything. I don't think they have the knowledge to. Can't cross reference by size. I just need a local source for a 54x70x8 oil seal. Anybody got a good part number. I crossed to a timken 24060-1467 but local stores can't find it. Thanks all for letting me vent a little.
