  1. my Massimo had a bad secondary clutch seal which leaked oil onto the drive belt shortly after I bought it, you might want to check yours.
  2. Better save your money for repairs not accessories.
  3. please explain how or why the rear wheels almost fell off, not that I doubt you but sounds a little hoky
  4. Doubt this will help but you have a pretty much typical Massimo. I don't understand why Tractor Supply, Lowes and others continue to carry them. .
  5. Yes, they want no contact with their customers, just their money.
  6. does sound like kind of an asshole don't he.
  7. Not being disrespectful to this form but is there another more active Kubota 850 Sidekick form? Never hurts to have more than one source.
  8. Suck it up but look for another job, maybe during your travel time.
  9. Battery properly good, Massimo bad.
  10. what happens when you jump the starter solenoid?
  11. bad ignition switch?

  13. Its hard to talk about the best without mentioning the worse.
  14. Dealer is the main thing and prepare to spend a lot of money. Beware of the Chinese junk.
  15. I really believe that the design of the Hisun 500/700 is very good but the people building them are very bad. They apparently know nothing (or just don't care) about quality control and customer support. If a good company were to buy them out and fire everyone that ever had anything to do with building them and replace with good engineers, QC, customer support people, they could corner the market. As it is now don't buy one unless you are fully ready to maintain it on your own because you will have problems.
  16. Don't have much good to say about Massimo but my 2014 MSU500 still has the original battery.
  17. 1. No not reliable. Yes, bad seal that leaked oil on drive belt, replaced seal and belt and misc clutch parts. Shift ball detent, both when new. Actually parts have not been the problem, quality is the problem. 2. Have not got rid of it, no one wants it. 3. Kubota Sidekick 4. Damm near impossible, some parts are on ebay. Mine is a MSU500 bought new from Tractor Supply.

    Survey

I am beginning to wonder if anyone has had good results from the Chinese crap (Hison, Massimo, Axis, Odes and others) mostly coming out of Texas. By good results I mean a good reliable two to five year basically trouble free experience. I have a Massimo and have managed to get almost 10 years out of it (farm use) but certainly not trouble free. I would not buy another one.
  19. Be sure to keep in touch, would like to know how this turns out.
  20. Have you any problems so far? I just got a RTV XG850.
  21. I think it is a good idea, I just got an 850 and that so far that is my biggest complaint, I see no reason for that much extra headroom, I'm hitting low hanging tree branches that never bothered my old SXS and it won't go in my basement garage.
  22. Can you give link to download from? I just got an 850 Sidekick and would like to get a service manual.
  23. I have a 2014 and have changed it once. Not that hard but not fun. I was just thinking that if a guy didn't even know weather it had a drive belt or not, it might be a little difficult.
  24. Yes it does, hard to change. How old is it, how many hours/miles?
