I'm looking into buying used motorhome, maybe come down ride with you guys,, maybe next winter? Don't think will make it in time this yr. Going to do some camping, riding, just get away this spring & summer. Then come south for maybe some time in the winter? Park on your yard,, lol,, can't wait!!

I'm really new to utv's. But, I bought my 2008 trooper 2 in july 2010, had 550 miles on it. paid less than 1/2 of what the new rzr cost. I have back problems so couldn't do 4 wheeler. Decided to try joyner, at that price. I have had 2 problems that slowed me down in the mts. blown fan fuse, had 1 with me, & brake caliper bolt broke,jamming inside wheel. Was able to get it loose,wired up, rode home. I have put close to 2000 miles on it. And yes I have done some upgrades, "because I wanted to". & I like doing things to it. I feel like I can do things to it, make it my own.. If money no object, would probably go with can-am, or new joyner, if available. So far I really love my trooper, but never had others to compare.. Remember when checking bolts, etc. check out all welds. I have had some crack, or were just not welded right on seam.

Yep, to each his own,, some go for looks, some to tear-up the hills, some both. Each & every trooper is special to it's owner. I painted mine with rubber bumper coat, some places bedliner.By doing this, when I go through sagebrush, trees, rocks,all I have to do is grab spray can,& touch-up,hate scratches. The mechanical things, & electrical mods are usually way beyond my talent level. But I'm really impressed by all. Keep up the good work guys,,,Quig

Sorry Mike, have to agree with Rocmoc. They are all sweet in their own particular way. Some do all the cosmetic things, others put all their effort into engine, suspension, etc, . I'm really amazed at all the things members have come up with.I just love hearing about all the changes, seeing great photos, this is great forum, just keep posting guys,,, & thanks for all the help everyone,,,Quig

Thanks Kinarfi for posting... I added fender flares, out of the plastic Gumball suggested, worked great. I also added 1" x .100 alum. strip to outside edge, it straightened edges. Found jeep mirror,it mounted easy, and is foldable both ways.. Earlier I cut the front off plastic panels right behind drivers compartment,then bent bracket that holds it, so it would stick out & catch some fresh, cool air for engine. When I bought my trooper the winch was gone. I would like to get 1, but would like advice on what to buy. appreciate any help. Probably just mount in reciever,& move from front to back as needed? Thanks, Quig
