  1. Does anyone know where I can purchase a rear removable seat for inside of rear bed. Something that’s made for it and has all the safety precautions. I saw a picture of one in back of unit and had a arm railing it looked like but it was hard to tell what it looked like seeing there where two people occupying it. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Rick
  2. I tend to agree with you. Not worth taking the chance not doing it especially when they are found to tight. Failure waiting to happen. I do the same crap with my wave runners and motorcycle
  3. Great to hear more good reviews than reading about how bad these machines are. Hopefully I got a good one that will be some what reliable. Thanks for the feedback
  4. Doug, that’s great to here another good thing about these. Feeling a little better about my decision and hopefully it doesn’t prove me wrong seeing I had a Polaris on order since December and they still couldn’t tell me a delivery date so I decided to get my deposit back seeing I wanted one since then. Like you said I save quite a bit of money. I realize the quality of Polaris verses Hisun but for what I need, hopefully this will do the trick
  5. What are your passengers sitting on in back. Is that a removable bench seat or what. Please let me know if it is and where you purchased it. I need to have something like that for additional seating that’s safe as well. Don’t want to lose anybody when I make a sharp turn, lol Thanks, Rick
  6. Yeah, somebody with one that has something good to say about them. Hope I am as lucky as you. I probably won’t run it like you do so I may have a better chance than some others. Thanks for the positive comments, that helps, lol Rick
  7. Yes, I was just saying that as a figure of speech. I riding it but not real confident on whether or when it going to get me stranded. Just wish I did more research before the purchase of this one. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
  8. To get the proper break-in I get it. I tend to agree
  9. Forgot to ask you, what year was yours and size
  10. Thanks for the heads up. Be safe
  11. Well that’s exciting news, NOT!!! Really not looking forward to that. Maybe if I run 10W30 it won’t happen (lol) just kidding. I’m still wondering if the valves really need to be checked like the book says or it’s just another way to get it in the shop for more revenue. My use for this machine is just to drive it around the neighborhood with the wife. It will probably never see dirt seeing I bought it for her. Don’t see us playing hard but it may not take that either from what I’m reading. We would have got a gas powered golf cart but they can’t make it up the inclines we have in the Georgia mountains
  12. Oh no problem, I get it. I’m an Amsoil guy so I understand where your coming from. Buts that’s a whole different animal if you know what I mean. I had added another post about valve adjustment at 20 hours. Do you care to comment. And thanks for your input, I have an opened mind and willing to listen. This is how we all learn the good and bad. Just sorry I wasn’t on this forum earlier, I would have purchased something else for what I read, lol
  13. Just happened to notice in my service manual the recommended oil weight is 10W30 and it doesn’t mention synthetic. I’m a firm believer in synthetic oils, seeing I use them in all my vehicles that call for that. I’m going to call Hisun and see what they say. I’ll let you know if your interested and if not no biggy
  14. I was browsing through the service manual and saw that the engine oil strainer is scheduled to be cleaned at the 20 hour mark. I’m wondering where is this located and is it different from the oil filter which I’m assuming it is. Just can’t find it on the machine. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Rick
  15. I was wondering if anyone has found the valve adjustment out of spec, when they had them checked at the recommended first 20 hours. If so, how hard is it to do on your own? Rick
  16. I have been spending a lot of time reading all of the negative things about our machines and now I’m afraid to put any time on this machine not knowing when it’s going to fall apart or leave me stranded somewhere. I can’t believe that Hisun can get away with selling such a piece of shit according to most of you. I guess when your trying to save a little money and opt to buy something that looks to good to be true is just that. Pretty sad that I have to look forward in spending additional money and get no support from a company that has a 2 year warranty that I won’t be able to use. I’m surprised that they can stay in business with a reputation like that I’m reading. Just my 2 cents. Very disappointing to say the least. All I can hope is for a little good luck with this POS. I’m mechanically inclined but didn’t want to spend my riding time fixing it. RICK
  17. Ya I found it. Thanks a lot for the info.
  18. Full Synthetic correct?
  19. I was wondering if anyone has found the valve adjustment, out of spec when they had them checked at the recommended first 20 hours. If so, how hard is it to do on your own? Rick
  20. Just talked to Hisun and they said I could do the oil changes but to make sure I purchase the Hisun oil filter and use a good quality 10w40 wet clutch motorcycle oil. I new about the oil, but wanted to make sure about the filter. With that said by following that guideline, it won’t void your warranty if something happens during that period. I don’t like not being able to do my own maintenance.
  21. Thanks for the info, I’ll give them a call now
  22. Ya I was thinking of doing that and just keeping the receipt. Hopefully that will be good enough. Just don’t want to learn the hard way. Thanks for your input! Rick
  23. 2022 Hisun 750 Sector Just wondering if I forfeit my warranty if I perform the first oil change after break in. Don’t want to transport back to dealer for him to drop the oil and filter. Need to know the facts about that before I decide to do it myself.
