  1. Does it have spark? If not then is most probably your stator. If it has spark then it is either your fuel injector is clogged, clean it with carb cleaner until you have a good stream of fuel; take off your air filter and spray starting fluid into the intake manifold try stating it; if it starts then it either your fuel pump or your fuel line. If it doesn't start then it is electrical (stator, ECU or a wire)
  2. What is going on is your Stator's pick up coil is going bad. When your machine is idling there is a lot of heat building up and your stator's pickup coil is loosing connection and the your are not getting spark to the engine. Once the engine cools down the coil shrinks enough to make connection. Long story short replace your stator.
  3. If you got spark and fuel and assuming that the timing hasn't changed it appears to me that you have a exhaust valve too tight, adjust the valves. If you have tight valves an engine has a hard time starting and yes when it is running you will get popping. When you take of the valve cover you can check the timing as well but my guess is that your valves have tighten up.
  4. I wouldn't worry too much about the valves or head damage as I have seen timing chains break and do no damage. What you will have to do is check if the engine has compression and if that is good (making sure that the valves are closed of course). Then take off the valve cover (and maybe the head) along with the flywheel, stator etc. and replace the timing chain.
  5. It sounds like your stator is going out, when the machine cools down it will run for a short time, and then shut off? When it shuts off check to see if you have spark, if not it is the stator or the ECU.
  6. It just a crank case breather. You could do several things, put a small air filter on it (to keep oil from getting all over the place or plug it into your air filter box.
  7. Bleed oil from the oil filter sometimes an air pocket or the filter does not have oil in it and will cause the light to come on. To bleed the oil filter loosen the filter crank over the engine until oil comes out then re tight the oil filter, start engine.
  8. You probably have a stuck intake valve; adjust your valves. Also your fuel pump is not working.
  9. I would look at a Hisum or any other Chinese side by side that has the same engine size as yours their belt will probably fit, also look on e-bay as they sometimes give the belt sizes. As far as removing the belt just work it off by getting the belt off center and rotating the clutch.
  10. if you are questioning that gray part it is an oil reed to drain oil back into the crankcase.
  11. Check the connection from the oil sending unit to see if it has a good connection and also check the ground. If it happened just after an oil change make sure that you have the correct amount of oil in the crankcase, also sometimes the low oil sending unit has to have some time to refill after a oil change.
  12. It is hard to determine from what you described but it could be that you haven't tighten the primary clutch down on the shaft and it is slipping on the shaft or the internal clutch is worn out.
  13. It appears to me that your stator and the pickup coil has or is going out. Look on youtube how to check a stator.
  14. Check your oil level, check your fuel pump pressure and your ECU. If the oil sensor is acting up then it will shut down the engine; also the stator and the pickup coil could be going out.
  15. Check your oil, since it is fuel injected make sure that gas is not going in to the oil. if your fuel pump or if it has a carburetor either way is stuck on then the fuel is going somewhere most likely the crankcase on on the ground. If it has a carburetor then your needle and seat are not set right and fuel is flowing out as you drive, if it is fuel injection then the fuel pump is running too high of fuel pressure and the fuel is going into the engine's crankcase. Check your oil level and make sure gas is not getting into your crankcase.
  16. If the timing gear broke that is on the camshaft there is no need to take apart the entire engine. Take the Stator cover off and the flywheel, take off the timing chain adjuster off, put a new chain (if you want) and install a new camshaft and gear. should only take a few hours not a bad job at all.
  17. I could get spark if the crankshaft and stator are working, but if the camshaft is not turning then you could have a broken timing chain , a broken camshaft or the bolts backed off the timing gear that connects to the camshaft. I have seen this situation many times on motorcycles. Take off your camshaft cover and turn over the engine and you should find the problem right away, usually an easy fix.
  18. Sounds like you clutch is not engaging or your belt has broken.
  19. Depending how far you want to go as far as repairs, I would consider drilling out the center of the shaft and the threaded part and taping them together with a strong bolt and then welding the two pieces together and then shaping them by hand so that the other part of the clutch fits correctly. Take your time it can be done.
  20. It sounds like your "Low Oil" switch is not working right and is sending a message to the ECU that it is low on oil. Check all the connections especially the one that connects to the oil sending unit.
  21. If your UTV will not start or if you prime the throttle body and get it to run most likely it is a fuel pressure problem (fuel pump). This is a common problem with all (big brands from USA, Japan and China) go down to the store and buy a cheap Fuel Injection tester and you will find that there is not enough fuel pressure. Before you go ahead a purchase a new fuel pump check the connections and the grounds.
